Conversation Over Time:

Player Base: "RITO!!! Nerf 'x Plox, OP!!" Riot Games: "That's a terrible idea, 'X' is already on the edge" Player Base: "RITO NO! Nerf! QQ!" Riot Games: "Fine." Nerfs X Player Base: "RITO! That too much! Buff Plox!" Riot Games: "Wait, what? Ummm... no? We just nerfed it." Player Base: "RITO!!!! Hate players! Nerf stupid! BUFF PLOX!!!" Riot Games: "Know what? Fine. Take this" Epically Buffs X Player Base: "RITO NEVER LISTEN TO US!!! GAMESUCKS!! QQ!"

Since 2011, on the boards, this has been the basic treatment of the RIOT Dev Staff at the hands of this ever-worsening community. Yet people wonder why RIOT rarely responds now, does not work through player made design concepts anymore, and basically ignores you people? I'd ignore most of you too. Admittedly ignores most people on the boards anyway.

Eh, i feel neutral twords this post. Yes, the boards are rediculus knee jerk reactions to everything. But I think Riot is far more level headed than this. They do listen, but also are pretty wise in how they do it. I look at Rageblade as the pinnacle example of this. Clever and useful solutions to complex issues

And they also ignore you.

This is too exaggerated, people ask for little tiny buffs but they overbuff it.

Except most of the buffs people demand are on champions who are already barely away from being a massive pub stomp. Most.

Ah yeah I remember the time where everyone said "please give Ornn 31% max HP magic damage with W + Auto" and not "Riot please don't buff Ornn even more he is perfectly ok right now"

Followed by the

"Riot, nerfing his unstoppable stance is a perfect solution" and not "Riot, that 31% max HP magic damage on W + Auto is the problem, not his unstoppable stance you are just making him dumber with this change"

Followed by the

"Yes Riot, literally nerfing anything else but the damage and then giving him a mini rework surely was the way to go, good job on this change" and not "Riot, making that 31% max HP magic damage on W + Auto to 28% max HP magic damage on W + Auto isn't solving the core problem that he still has 28% max HP magic damage on W + Auto, just fucking nerf that, what is so hard on just NERFING THAT?!"

Edit: It's not that what we are asking for is wrong or anything, it's that Riot is doing completely random shit when it comes to changes that we propose... just like the stupid tower "buff" that ended up to be a net nerf.
