Projectile Magnet ability? @Meddler-Senpai

Black Hole Armor

Red Alert 3 came with a really interesting (a lot of interesting) ability for the amphibious Assault Destroyer.

Basically it allows the tank to draw in hostile projectile towards itself even though they're focused in other directions and friendly units). Meanwhile the tank has this ability toggled, it is unable to fire back against enemies but still has ways to destroy enemy units (full description is up there).

With the chat about an ability that would slow up all projectiles in a target area (don't have a link for it), which turned out to be a really poor idea in the end and in the execution, I thought that this could really be an interesting thing to test out in the game. The projectiles that are drawn towards the unit can still hit others, it's just that their direction is being altered and eventually fully drawn in towards the Assault Destroyer (which toggled the projectile Magnet).

I could definately see a simillar toggle ability on a tank champion (or in worse case scenario, on a tank-support). It is a really interesting mechanic that I hope will be explored more by the champion developers in the future.

And HOPEFULLY someone will notice this thread :3

Edit: I totaly changed to title, hoping that Meddler would burst in here and throw money at his screen and ask himself; "WHY AREN'T WE FUNDING THIS!?".

What's the difference between this and Braum or Wind Wall? Or is this really just a mobile, toggled Wind Wall? If so, that sounds crazy OP.

Consider your thread officially noticed =P

I had a similar mechanic in an early iteration of a champion concept I made; my champion would create a black hole at a target location that would redirect projectiles so that they would pass through the center of it, retaining their normal range.

Your method probably works better, though; it seems to me like it would be easier to turn skillshots into targeted abilities rather than the other way around.
