Why does low elo think grouping is the solution to everything?

They don't understand that top lane can 1v1 anyone that comes at him, so we should split bot and let them either let him get towers or 3v4 because they have to send 2 to kill him. They don't understand that because we lost 5 teamfights in a row, grouping will not work. Instead they insist that we need to "group better" or something. They don't understand that super minions create pressure by themselves, effectively meaning we don't have to be there constantly, failing to kill their nexus turrets when we can just get the sidelanes instead. They don't understand that because they have no engage I do not have to always be mid. Instead I can farm and push another lane, later creating pressure that they may need to send someone to deal with, making it a 5v4 when we actually do need to group.

It's just so frustrating.

Because split pushing doesn't work in low elo, they'll end up 5v1 the split pusher and your team will just end up jacking off doing nothing with 5 members on the opposite side of the map.

it depends on the situation! sometimes split push is better sometimes its better to turtle sometimes backdoor is the option to win sometimes group as 5 or 4 or 3 is a option

all i read in ur post is low elo garbage!

I'm guessing that they were pounded into the ground in the laning phase, and now need to hide behind the team's tankiest member. (Even if he isn't and actual tank)

It may also be a mismatch in team comp. If your playing a split pusher, the ADC should probably have more self reliance than most. Which isn't likely if they are immobile, or planing to hypercarry. (Though a lot of people don't fully understand comp though.)

Salty jungle: "ffs guys we need to group mid!! Stop getting picked!!" */farming bot with a nonwarded river and gets picked* "Gg crap team can't group midd like I said, ff at 20 and report my team pls"

Usually it's the losing team that groups first as they start to feel desperate. If you're able to hold mid out 3v5 then you'll win unless they realize grouping was a bad idea. But usually the early group pummels the 3 mid on your team and you're forced to group and play aram.

It's not the best strategy and it's good you see that but if you refuse to group with your team when they complain about the enemy being grouped you're more likely to lose unless you're playing a real good splitpusher and even then you're trusting your team won't throw.

its just the simplest way to win, it takes the least coordination and if you could win by grouping, why not.

Harder to get caught and easier to force stuff as 5 than as 1.

Cuz it's low elo?

Probs should get a higher elo before you make this type of assessment.

Because they don't want to think. They want to find some magic answer to win the game and "grouping" seems to work for tourney (lazy) players.
