I Really Think Morgana Needs a Power Shift

I think Morgana has too much power in the wrong places and too little in others.

Passive: Power - Fine, but is just not right for the champion. I think she needs a brand new passive.

Q: Power - Too high, I think she should have a lower binding duration, but also decrease the cooldown.

W: Power - Too low, maybe add grevious wounds to it or something.

E: Too high - Make it have a delay or travel time so it just can't be intant.

R: Too Low - Make it ground targets it attaches to, but lower the slow percentage.

What do you guys think?

I think not.

First of all, the ult changes you described would make it impossible to escape Morgana ult. The only way to escape it would be to kill her. (and dont say "cc" her, we both know what her E does)

If you lower the duration on Q, you are immediately lowering the power on W by default. (a skill which has 400 base damage and 110% ap scaling, and can increase by upto 50%, based on enemies missing hp).

adding grevious wounds to W feels random, and not very helpful.

Besides, I don't think she has too much power or too little power in the wrong places. All of her spells feel meaningful, and syngergise with her kit well.

I think her basic abilities have too much power and her ultimate is mainly just to blow champions movement abilities. Also if you all walked opposite direction some would get out she would have to choose who to stay on. Also with the slow being reduced then it would be easier to walk out of when she zhonya's. Idk I think her ult is pretty garbage rn so I don't see why this is a bad change.

Well, her basic abilities are powerful because they come with the drawback of being unreliable.(Q and W specifically) Her E is compensated by having a large cooldown and being relatively easy to break at rank 1.

Her ult is guaranteed to land when combined with her Q for a whopping 4.5s of chain CC. It also does a lot of damage. It can do upto 140% ap scaling + 600 base damage at max rank. If the enemy doesn't have dashes she can land a stun on multiple champions. These factors alone are good enough to justify the strength of her ult I think.

You aren't wrong though, her ult has a lot of counterplay; i.e you can dash out of it, its delayed, easy to get out of, etc. But, Morgana's Q and W also have the exact same weaknesses, and just like her ult, they are extremely rewarding to land.

If you haven't already, might I suggest playing Morgana, to get a feel of the potential her ult has?

I know the potential and I know the strength of the overall champion. My problem is that getting a nasty 3+ man ult is near impossible now with all of the mobility in the game. Her laning a Q is more rewarding than attempting to land an ultimate because the ultimate will on average stun 1 person maybe 2 if you are lucky or there is a significant cc on them already.

Her ult is fine. And zhonyas is the only thing keeping her viable. So no.

Q is a strong spell with a decent hit box but is very predictable and the projectile itself is on the slow side. Even at gold most enemies can predict it and it becomes quite hard to land unless an enemy is cornered or already encumbered with a different CC.

Passive is okay.

Q is absolutely garbage because its one of the slowest moving projectiles in the game. You have to be melee range Morgana to land it reliably. She's basically just anti-engage.

W is useless.

E is fine as it is.

R is very low damage and unreliable. Needs an entirely new ult.

Morgana's outplay potential is immense. She's one of the few champions that does pretty much zero damage if you miss an ability. The reliability of her E somewhat makes up for the fact that she can be so easily out played.
