Daily reminder that she also has the highest average games played by her playerbase you hurr durr.
That doesn't make a difference. Vayne is in a spot right now that's cancerous. She spikes harder than early game champs. Lucian and Draven both have lower win rates than Vayne at all levels of the game and they start their spike at lvl 2-3-4 and are at their strongest by Mid game. You'd think their early win rates would be higher than hers. Nope they're not. Vayne is surpassing them: a champ that is supposed to spike when she has 3-4 items. This is a problem and I hope Riot will address this issue like they did Lucian back at the beginning of s6: with a gigantic nerf on the right skills.
Except it does make a difference. A HUGE difference. You literally just said it doesn't matter that the average Vayne has over 20 more games played than the average Draven, she must be OP cuz she has a 4% higher win rate. LOL.
Not what I said but good attempt at paraphrasing me. And no, it does't make a HUGE difference. Sure, they have 20 more games played as her, but it also means others will have played against her 2x-3x times more and therefore her win rate should drop to a more balanced number as people should have found ways to counter her. This is not the case.
Not what I said but good attempt at paraphrasing me
Yet you said, and I quote, "That doesn't make a difference." So yes, you did say it.
Sure, they have 20 more games played as her, but it also means others will have played against her 2x-3x times more
That's actually not what that stat means. Not at all.
You're 0-2.
I've given reasons behind my statements while you have not given any. What you've done is simply state a statement with no explanations what ever you mean. I've debated with what little you've offered me in information. Again, you did not paraphrase me. I did say "that doesn't make a difference" but if I had to guess, you only read the first sentence, caught a few glimspes at the word win rate and decided, "ah he clearly bitchin at her win rates have gone up 4%" which btw is gigantic. Continue to believe you're 0-2 or whatever point system your using to conclude your clear "victory," you've yet to even give any explanations yourself. The stat you've given can be interpreted in so many ways your going to have to explain what you mean by it.
Your reasons are not even valid. But sure, I'll elaborate.
Average games played is a measure of the average games played on that champion someone has. Meaning, when you see a Vayne queue up, that person has played, on average, about 95 games. Leading to a 52.86% win rate. To compare, when you see a MF queue up, that person has played, on average, 53 games. Leading to a 51.06% win rate.
I'm sorry, but if you don't think that playing over 40 more games on a champion should allow you to have a 1.8% higher winrate on that champion, you're not very smart. I mean, you're literally saying that experience on a champion shouldn't matter. Do you realize how dumb that sounds?
Your "counterpoint" was that it means enemies have seen the champion more. No, it simply doesn't. For an exaggerated example, a champion could have an average games played stat of 100. But, if only 10 people are playing that champion, that means the champion has only been played in 1,000 games. So only 5,000 people have played against her (not counting duplicates). Compared to if a champion has an average games played of 10, but if 100,000 people play them, the champ would have a total of 1 million games played. Meaning 5 million people have played against that champion (again, no duplicates). The stat you're thinking of is playrate.
The problem isn't that Vayne is "too strong". The problem is that people like you bitch and moan that early game champions like Draven and Lucian are "ermehgerd oppressive" so they are nerfed. Then late game champs like Vayne have an extremely easy time in lane and can reach carry status much sooner. Then you'll bitch about Vayne being "cancerous" and "reaches her power spike too soon" so they are nerfed. Then you'll bitch about early game champs "not paying a high enough price" for being strong early, because they "don't fall off late" now that you've nerfed the late game champs. You say Vayne is cancerous because she spikes too soon. Well maybe that's because the community has bitched and moaned about early game champs being "oppressive". The champs that dominated Vayne's weak ass laning phase and kept her from getting items and spiking soon.
And Vayne's playrate is so high because she is relatively easy for how strong she currently is. People can say she is difficult all they want, but the only thing difficult about her is positioning, which is pretty universal for ADCs. She can be played perfectly fine with just playing AAs. There are no combos. There are no skill shots. So when you nerf the champs that keep her in check early, stopping the early spike, you get a lot of people playing her.
But she doesn't even have the highest win rate for ADCs, despite people that play her having the absolute highest experience with her.
But no. Just continue to look at win rate only and judge a champ's power. These things should go without being said. They should be common sense.
My "win rate" stats was to create a comparison between 3 champs to show flaw in a character: Vayne; so yes they are valid, I simply must've failed to present the information properly, my fault, I'll work on that. On another note, I cannot argue with most of what you say, it is valid reasoning. As well keep in mind, what is common sense to you may not be common sense to others, we all learn and retain information differently, you're better off saying it. I actually didn't know there was a difference. Have the 3-0 victory. Thanks for the explanation, it's much appreciated.
