How does something like reworked Garen get through to live?

This champ is so disgustingly broken that the only counterplay to him as a melee champ is to sit under turret until laning is over. He has a 54% win rate atm, how is this broken shit not hotfixed? He's literally strong than 90% of top laners from level 1, still outscales them while having a 1500 damage point and click true damage nuke in the late game, all while being super tanky and taking 0 skill or brain power to pull off.

Balance team is an absolute joke... and it's not even just Garen, you have stuff like Vlad, Khazix, ekko, Fiora, and reworked shaco who are absolutely broken to high fuck and still not nerfed, while being 100% pick ban in diamond+ games.

How can this game seriously be so hard to balance when these disgusting champs just sit here for weeks on end, while being blatantly broken that they make champs like Morde, Darius, and Jax look weak. This isn't even mentioning champs like Aatrox who get gutted to troll tier in soloqueue because they are picked in LCS too much(who the fuck actually cares about pro balance?).

your talking about a balance team that let a skill that now triples kill gold and a champ that just attaches itself to allies into live. this isn't new

He's OP but not "disgustingly broken". Wouldn't even make my top 10 most busted shit that made it to live

Woah its almost like an early game champion is stronger than most other champions at level one funny how that works. The changes are ultimately, garen now can use e to waveclear, his ult is more consistent, and he is less tanky late game. Most of the people who complain about garen arent used to him winning lane because before he had almost no winning matchups, now that his late game power has been converted to early game power, like it should be, they are all complaining they cant bully garen at all stages of the game. If you stay even with new garen by mid game (level 11 ish) you will be able to 1v1 him as most toplaners. Knowing toplaners though they will probably get cheesed by him once then continue trying to trade and dying to the point where they can be killed under tower. Then they go all hashinshin on us.

1500 true damage?

i dont think so....

at max rank his ult does 450 + 0.30% of the targets missing hp.

so if the target has 2500 max hp and they are missing half their hp they have 1250 -450 +375 for a total of 825 damage

his ult does more damage the more missing hp the target has, there fore its better vs high hp targets that are missing a good % of hp.

so if a target has 4000 hp and they are missing 50% so they have 2000 hp and he ults that is 2000-450+ 600 doing 1150 damage. so if this target has only 35% of their hp (1400hp) and garen ults them 1400- 450+ 780 doing 1230 damage

Last time I was on PBE, it was full of trolls and bots. If that's still the case, it'd be little wonder why something like this would get through to live. Not a lot of people on PBE actually take the "beta" part seriously.

Re-worked Garen is bad. The re-work was intentionally released overtuned to hide that fact. The numbers will shortly be normalized.

Aatrox actually kinda deserves to be op. All his abilities are avoidable and have a delay. Garen on the other hand...
