What is the point of Lee Sin's shield?

Let's be real. If we take out the dash, that shield isn't worth putting more than 1 point into it.

That aside, how do you build Lee Sin in the Tank meta?

You don't need hydra.

You build resistances based on the game.

Lee has pretty good scaling in AD but it won't mean much in this meta since tanks will just cc you and you die. If you build tanky, you'll be able to do okay damage, but you'll live long enough to turn the tides of fights by displacing valuable enemy carries (insec the enemy Caitlyn into your team), or peeling for your own.

You /can/ build Hydra, Last Whisper, etc., but that's only ever a good idea if you're sure you can close a game out fast, imo.

His shield is supposed to give him sustain in the jungle and the dash is pretty powerful so I wouldn't underestimate it.

Also, you don't go Hydra on Lee Sin unless the game is almost 100% won. If you want damage, there are better, more efficient items on him.
