It seems to me that that sort of reasoning would make you want the end of season soft reset to be removed entirely, rather than replaced with a hard reset.

Hahah this post has 0 idea. What's the idea of starting at the bronze. That's why there is these 10 games before you get rank so Riot can give you rank what is more likely your current skills.
