Stop punishing ragers and punish the trolls that induce it constantly

Trolls and AFKERS punishments are not serious enough. swearing is common and when someone is intentially feeding, then saying nice stuff in chat to seem polite so the other team wont report so they get free lp we lose lp and this guy gets us reported and chat restricted when he is a support stealing buffs feeding, not leashing, and trolling all game, and typing to piss you off. of course your gona swear. I TRY TO WIN PEOPLE PLAY RANKED EXPECTING TO WIN and TRY. we WASTE OUR LIVES TRYING TO CLIMB ONLY TO BE PUT WITH 5 BAD GAMES IN A ROW 4v5 5 times in a row ! OBVIOUSLY SOMEONE IS GONA TILT ITS NOT FAIR AND ALL THE HARD WORK VANISHED CAUSE OF A COMMUNITY PROTECTED FROM SCOLDING

I think a 14 day ban right off the bat seems pretty good. I mean what more could you ask for? If they permaban just for one incident you are basically asking for trouble from the community because there would be too many innocent people getting ban if this were the case.

So what exactly would your ideal punishment be for trolls and afkers?

everyone i report plays the next day i check op.gg, well not everyone but majority i mean that attitude to feed once in ranked is just bad it should be taken serious, there trying to promote esports and mature words which there is a chat filture c0ould be turned on@

It takes time for the IFS to build a case against them, and some often require a manual review as well. Trolls take longer to detect because the system has to make sure that they're actually consistently trolling and not just having a bad game or two. Not only that but since gameplay trolls often know what they did wrong when they're punished so they rarely complain on the boards about it.

As for the language filter, Riot has stated repeatedly that it doesn't mean you can be a verbally abusive jerk to other people. It exists for people who prefer not to see that kind of language in their games. Also, even pro players are punished for consistently acting up, so not even they are immune to punishment.

Unable to played ranked for 1 week. You get 3 strikes, and then you are banned from ranked for the rest of the season.

Normals don't matter to the extent as ranked. Sure, actual trolls suck no matter what game mode them are in,

But I would rather have a troll in normals than in ranked.

Normals are where people go to learn new things, and just have fun.

Ranked actually matters.

Normals are as i said, to go learn new things and mess around.

There is difference though from actually feeding, or just having a bad game.

They really should bring back Rank Bans, although i think your way would actually work. Before they would rank ban you till you played X amount of Normal games. Which obviously lead to more trolls in normals.

Did you know cussing/swearing/cursing is not punish worthy by itself?

Saying Fuck/damn/shit/etc does not by itself get a punishment NA community uses such language so often that the system accepts it as social standard and no punishment for it

However the problem comes when people start to say "fuck you, you peice of shit, asss stain of an adc, hope your mother burns in hell, go die,etc"

But hey if if you feel its "worth it" by all means be willing to accept the punishment that is deserved for it.

I can never understand how butt hurt people get over words typed by someone they will never meet. Frankly I don't care what people type, I care about what you are doing in the game.

It's not perfect but afkers are harshly punished, trolls on the other hand may or may not be as easily identified. Doing things like taking buffs, not giving you a jungle leash etc... are not easily reportable or identifiable. There is no rule that demands for you to never take a jungle camp or force you to leash the jungler in the same manner as there is no rule saying the jungler must gank your lane.

As a side note - it is all just a game at the end and you're playing with real people who are always going to mess up. Part of playing a multiplayer game is accepting that.

I'm assuming you're not a pro and neither am I for that matter. You don't have your livelihood dependent on winning or losing. Again if you're not playing this for enjoyment and it's causing you more stress and anger than anything -- you should reconsider your approach.

ummm, i play to win, i use my time wisely, game or not im not talking about normals, i could be pro with my plays if i could climb, but if you read the sub topic i got 5 games 4v5 and i won 1 of those 5 games cuz i dont quit, and i dont have a chance to be pro because the guy who feeds in my promos is 0/14 and ends up getting gold 5 and i was 20/2 and i got silver 4 really doesnt give you any evidence that matchmaking makes sense
