How much do you hate the new ? Because I can't imagine how much cancer that has to be to play against knowing you can't do anything till it's popped.

Being a short range mage that can't use her full combo like flash/ult because of that item has to be pretty cancer.

I don't player Annie so it doesn't effect me, but I feel kinda bad for characters like . They rely heavily on bursting in 1 rotation. Veigar less so though.

Also good luck ever getting an ult off if they have

Out of those 3 champions, I only actually feel bad for Karthus because that would technically be a counter to his ultimate that most mages will have. Then again, that is only a counter to his ultimate if you used it to start off a fight because using it either when you are dead/passive, or when some one is running away with low health, chances are that the Banshees was popped and is on a 45 second CD.

Veigar I really just don't like and it probably won't hurt him as bad since he could just throw out his Q to pop it and honestly wouldn't need his full rotation to kill any squishy late game + he could always just focus the ADC instead of their mage.

It will hurt Annie quite a bit, but she could still flash + tibbers anyways and hope to hit their ADC/Support or any other squishy without a spell shield up.

If karthus intends to kill the mage with his ult, they would have just left combat and still have 30 secs left for the shield

I think it's actually really rough on Fizz When he's laning he really relies on his ult to initiate but with a veil up that's hard to do.

I leaned against one recently and it was the easiest time I've ever had against Fizz. If he ever used anything to pop my veil I just walked out of ulti range, wait until it's up, then back to farming and harassing.

There are a number of items whose active effects should not be on core items. Banshees is right at the top of that list. You should be buying it for the shield, not because its the only AP/MR item.

Riot keeps doing this shit - putting a hard counter effect on a core item, and its really bad for the game.

Why would I fully prep my stun, knowing the enemy has a veil? Stack a couple, pop it, then shield and then stun. Regardless of what changes have been made to veil, it has been the same circumstance since it was released. Not seeing the benefit of talking about it, unless the point is to aggravate people needlessly.

How do you pop their veil if they out range you? You sit there looking at their veil knowing you can't pop it with flash/ult while they out range you and stay away from you.

Imagine playing against anything with a lot of range on you, when are they EVER going to let you Q them? lol

The change to Veil is that it's now an AP item and doesn't put you behind, so it can be rushed.

Not sure why I'm being treated with two posts that are treating people like they're immortal with a bubble that blocks one single skill. I've fought plenty of people with bubbles before. It's only ever a troubling situation if it's in a team fight, since you actually do risk a lot by trying to get that sort of close, if the enemy team isn't distracted enough to react on that attempt.

People need to chill.

Then you pick a safer midlaner instead of an specific counterpick champions like Annie that has problems against a whole lot of midlaners (aka ranged midlaners).

But every midlaner can be countered. Pick Annie, you have troubles vs ranged, pick ranged you have troubles vs assassin, pick assassin you have troubles vs Annie.. The only one I feel like is really a safe pick to a certain degree is Ahri in the hands of a good player

Walk up to her she walks away free lane or do what fighters have had to do for years use bushes to come out behind your enemy or be useless because ranged champions have constant movement speed on their items and are faster than melee champions

I don't hate it anymore then when I'm playing Lux Xerath or Morgana . It's not like we haven't had to of dealt with Spell shields in the past.

Thats hilarious. Its so easy to play around banshee's as annie. Auto 3 times to proc T-lords, which negates banshee's veil, then flash stun. Or wait till 3 bars, use 4th spell on enemy and tibbers stun and the w for t-lords proc. Not hard people.

Maybe in bronze they will stand there and let you auto them, but annie's auto range was nerfed forever ago, it's not cait range anymore and things like lux aren't going to stand there and let you auto them lmao

Annie is a champion that's only good early - mid game. Even if this item didn't exist, she would be useless anyways if the game drags on long enough.

Get it on a long range mage and I feel like a god LOL I think the item should be nerfed in someway, Zhonyas has a trade off of being unable to do anything while banshee has the same level of offensive ability without much of a trade off.

The trade off is that Zhonia's will let you dodge infinite abilities during the stasis while Banshee's blocks one ability

I just build 40% CDR when they build MR because if you can't 100-0 as Annie you just sit there and die. At least I can be a semi-useful stunbot-tank with a different build.

If you use untargetable ability to dodge her Q guess what? She still has her stun stucks up and stuns you again

I kind of like it but i'v it's because most of my champs mid lane match up's completely rely on dodging one CC ability, like if an ahri wants to go in on me but i have my banshee's and it procs from her Charm, i'll be fine now.

I kind of like it cause let's be honest there are A LOT of situations where getting hit by one spell for a lot mages especially means you die and fall really far behind. Not to mention, annie can build it too, it'll help her when she flash ults to not get stunned and instantly killed.

Avid Annie main here. Honestly I like abusing the thing given the fact Annie is not mana reliant at all. Sure it's annoying when the enemy Kat or Syndra builds it, but given the fact I can easily rush it first item my life becomes so much easier knowing I have a proper spellshield that also gives AP. Honestly, though, the thing needs to be reverted to how it was. GA as well. I always felt like shields and such should be on TANK items. It's just kinda dumb I can rush a spellshield item that gives 10% cdr and 70 AP as well as MR. In other words, it's fun to use, but it's a bit on the broken side.
