When you don't upgrade your trinket you lose out on vision, when you lose out on vision the enemy team takes baron, when the enemy team takes baron they come back hard, when the enemy team come back hard you lose an easy game, when you lose an easy game you get grumpy, when you get grumpy you never get laid, when you never get laid you become a wizard, when you become a wizard you try to take over the world, when you try to take over the world the nukes fly and when the nukes fly you end up eating radioactive Twinkies.

Don't eat radioactive Twinkies; upgrade to !

I made this under the impression that my team mates in ranked (and to a lesser degree normals) were just forgetting to upgrade trinkets.

I am beginning realize that the plat plus elitists may be right, a huge number of the people below them aren't just inexperienced, they are willfully ignorant and downvote anyone contradicts their habitual patterns.

Each level after 9 you pass on without upgrading your trinket, you're practically losing money.

They aren't losing money.. because they aren't buying regular wards. They die because of lack of vision, blame the team, and lose out on farm. So yes, like I was saying.. they lose money.

Once had a gut feeling that enemy team was eyeing baron, so I used my item 3361 to ward it.

A minute later, enemy team wins a teamfight 1 for 3, so started baron. Thanks to my ward, friendly Draven was able to time his ult and pull off a clutch ass baron steal, and the Purple Power! allowed us to break the enemy base defenses and win the game.

This is just one of the multiple times a single ward has turned a game completely around. Wards win games guys, and the trinket upgrade is too good to pass up. Can't tell you how much my normals MMR rose ever since I started upgrading my trinket religiously.

I don't think I have ever lost a game where my team had major vision dominance and watched timers. Yet apparently 250 gold delays your LCS BIG DAMAGES waay to much.

Honestly if every time you back you just so happen to have enough gold to complete a significant item or portion thereof then go for that instead, and buy a ward or even pink ward if you can. Especial!y if you know that you'll be able to clear out a ward with it.

Or you could upgrade your trinket AND buy a pink, all the items in the world won't save you if your team has no vision control.

Unless the opposing team is even worse. If they are even worse then use wards to punish them. Then they become the Wizards and you get laid.

I hate how people are so blind (haha see what I did there) to the importance of vision... It blows my mind that people wont spend 250g to help win a match... your items can wait, help your team and stop saying that vision is only the job of the jungler and support. This original post needs to become a real commercial RITO plays when you log in haha!
