Clarify please: Tahm Kench - Stasis or no Stasis?

Okay, so what is up with his W (Devour)?

Champion spotlight said it's a Stasis. Skill descripsion says it's a Stasis. Champ reveal says: Allied Champions: When Tahm Kench devours an allied champion, he renders his ally immune from damage and gains extra movement speed when he heads toward enemy champions. Both Tahm Kench and his edible ally can choose when the latter leaves.

Yet I am 100% certain that allies have died at least 2 times in my belly to Ignite , and one time to poison.

So then wtf?

Intended or bug? If intended please don't say Stasis, say "becomes untargetable, but DoTs still apply" or something. I would be happier if it was only a bug though.

If you eat a Wukong during his ult it continues to spin a stick inside your belly and damage.

It's basically a single target amumu ult.

I was told according to the "Taum Kench Q&A" that is was working as intended.

He's an extremely niche champion that depends on solid teamwork and communication.

I feel like they should give up on the support aspect and just make him more fun to play in a lane or jungle.

Would be lovely then if it were stated so in the skill description at least. Sadly, if it is so, that makes him far less viable :(

I still think he's a great counterpick (as a support) for Thresh or Morg. Also there is some perverted simbolism in eating an ally off on enemy Thresh hook.

Edit: Should I report it as a bug (either the description or the mechanic, cause one of them is "not right")?

His W is an untargetability, so anyone in his belly still takes damage from pre existing tethers/DoTs.

It is just an untargetable. All DOT damage works just like it would on fizz troll poll and vlad pool.

Twitch's passive doesn't work on champions you ate. One time I saved my ADC with 10 health that had all of Twitch's passive stacks by eating them.

Hmmm...That is strange, either it is a bug? Or the passive wore off? Because according to the wiki it is just an untargetable meaning all dot SHOULD be applied. I would suggest testing it out again and if it does infact prevent twitch DOT damage report it to the bugs section.

Maybe DOT isn't stopped but delayed damage like from Zilean does appear to be. reference my other post.

Tons of people say that you still take damage inside of TahmKench but its not true. On an aram i played and a Caitlyn or a Ashe on my team got Zilean Qed to the face. I ate my squishy friend and they didn't die. and this wasn't like they took it and survived it was they got hit with like 50 health life at level 10 and they didn't die. Then they jumped out and dove a tower so everybody said they died when i spat em out but they had already avoided the Zilean damage. This was like last week. also item 3117 Teemo Bard
