Zed nerfs vs. Azir nerfs
Their excuse for Zed was that he was in a good state and there wasn't a need to ruin him, so they are soft adjusting.
Yet they dropped an anvil on Azir and aren't giving context on whether or not he will be saved.

Zed is the bane of anything outside of professional play (don't know about 5 men unprofessional premades) while Azir is a strong pick in professional play. This is the only difference I can spot between those 2 and personally I do believe that a hard champion who isn't dominant but just strong shouldn't be nerfed/buffed in great terms but should be dealt with carefully.
Now, Azir isn't even the only strong pick, you can see the obvious 10 picks in every match with said characters not being even as hard as Azir left untouched. I also believe that Azir strong point is that he is a counterpick and that it's really rare (really.. really rare) to see his own counters played on the field (Xerath, Varus and (lol) Zed).
I didn't follow much the whole discussion so I don't know if Riot actually provided context about Azir, I do believe though that if they have a more detailed insight or are aiming to a specific situation they should tell us about that because as things stands this whole thing keeps looking like "League of Double Standards".
