First of all, it was probably closer to 10 minutes. You are level 6.

Second, if you have't ganked before 6, you aren't jungling right. ESPECIALLY for Lee Sin. Their jungler (bless his soul fellow Kha main) has already had 3 kill interactions. Judging by your farm compared to others, you've just been farming.

It's funny that people point and say that this is my fault. If I was the jinx and made this thread you wouldn't say it was the Lee Sin's fault. You would say it was my fault.

No matter what, when every lane loses in the first 5 minutes, it's 100% the fault of the Jg. Your one job is to control the pace of the game and the map. In the first 5 minutes you've failed so completely at your job that it's astounding. At least one of your lanes should have had an advantage, kha showed up 3 times, you showed up none, even when kha was visible on the opposite side of the map you failed to take advantage of it on the side of the map you were on.

You are 100% to blame for the state of the game shown in that picture mate.

One laner dies? Ok. Laner's fault. Two lanes die? Possibly still just the laner's fault.

EVERY lane dies in the first 5, the enemy jg participates in 3 ganks, you participate in none? Your fault as the jg. Period. 100% of the time. You can't sit back and let the enemy jg impose his will on the game and do nothing to counteract it and have it be ANYONE else's fault but your own.

Period.

Your troll is a pretty weak troll attempt man. At least put some effort into it.

i wonder if you can make it a full reply without calling someone a troll or low elo...probably not

You're entire argument is based around him not ganking...but your only evidence is that he has a score of 0/0/0. Hopefully you understand that not all ganks result in kills. You should know that ganking is heavily reliant on the enemy not having vision/map awareness (save for a few exceptions) and so it would be extremely easy for kha to have successful ganks if lee's team doesn't have vision and it would be hard for lee to gank if the enemy team has vision. Simple stuff, really

The first time he makes any impact in the game is after 8 minutes. As lee sin.

Nothing else needs to be said. That's his first interaction period.

He afked for 8 minutes and then blamed his team for sucking while he was afk.

Again, your troll is weak af.

You my friend, aren't a jungler. I can number you quite a few times when farming is the correct choice, even if you are playing a heavy ganker focused champion like lee sin. The most easiest example is if all lanes are pushed, without 6 he can't gank any lane effectively if the enemies aren't over extending, he doesn't have the hard CC and his only option woudl be a dive or a instant burst and quite frankly both are not practical. He could try to invade the Kha but the insolated damage is quite a good deterrent from doing that.

So now he's also pushing lanes that are in a losing situation, causing them to overextend and be exposed for another kha gank? Are you really trying to defend a mistake by saying it's possible he compounded the first set of mistakes by making another strategic mistake?

Low level player thinking is a complete mystery to me.

Slythion3 votes

oh boy, now you're attacking me on other comment chains lol

No, but if you forced them to flash out and either laner backed then yes, it is acceptable to farm the wave (whether you push it or freeze it depends on the situation) which results in more cs than an average jungler would get from farming solely the jungle

I didn't think I'd have to explain this basic stuff to players, but I guess I have to spell everything out, lest you try to find flaw in everything I say

LordGeovanni1 votes

and by doing so you make sure your underleveled laner cause they died once stays underleveled and gold deprived rather than just letting them come back to get the gold to stay even

Slythion2 votes

that's not how resetting waves work

LordGeovanni1 votes

by resetting a wave you make the waves have an equal amount of minions meaning that who is behind which is your laner will stay behind instead of being able to soak up exp and get some gold from the large minion wave pushing to their tower in n attempt to catch up to their lane opponent but as long as you get your self fed who cares about the laner unless they die again because they are obviously behind then time to tell them stop feeding etc.

Angry Monster1 votes

A jungler should hit 6 right before or a camp after starting of their 2nd round of buffs. So roughly the 7 minute mark.

If everyone is paying attention pre waves nothing really happens, So it could be 5 minutes of actual game play (in the op mind)

Their jungler (bless his soul fellow Kha main) has already had 3 kill interactions.

There are games where all your laners are losing trades and makes it not safe to even attempt the gank. But makes to super easy for the enemy jungler go in and clean up.

you should know all this, unless you are boosted.

Weathered1 votes

None of the enemy laners in the op thread had more than a single kill. This means that, because Kha has 3 kill participation, he forced those kills from an even ground. Whether or not lanes are winning or losing trades does not make a huge difference at early levels because in those first few levels a 2v1 will always go in the favor of the two. No one has had time to back, or if they have its a minor item.

If, let's say, their adc was 3/0/1 by whatever time this screenshot was taken, I can understand not wanting to gank. But in this case it's complete bullshit to argue that he shouldn't be ganking, especially since Lee can easily gank from odd positions early game.

When it's 5 minutes in and the Jg kills the game because he doesn't know how to interact in the lanes and track the opposing Jg who goes on a tear making impact play after impact play for the opposing team?

All I see here is a lee sin who has no idea how to play Jg and is costing the team the game by afk farming on a gank/pressure oriented Jg.

Just.

Saying...

Slythion2 votes

no, you see nothing, you are assuming it all

All I am assuming here is that his entire team doesn't know how to ward/stay safe from ganks while their team does. I see a Sion that started chain vest against a Fiora (lol). I see a bot lane that has no excuse to die to a gank because Morgana can spellshield their only serious form of cc (blitz). I see a Zed that probably got ganked during an early all-in on Katarina which wouldn't be anyone's fault but his own because he didn't use wards.

I see a Lee that, whether he tried ganking or not, can not be held responsible for his team losing lanes to an enemy jungler's ganks. Whether he ganked early or not, he can't be blamed for his teammates dying solo or to ganks.

It's one of those games where you (as a jungler) know you will have to pick a lane to save because you know every lane will feed. This scoreboard is pretty much the nightmare of jungling when you know every lane is going to lose and the enemy jungler has a decent lead and now has free reign of the jungle...this is a game where junglers feel helpless because everything goes to hell before they can have a serious influence.

So next time don't be negative and blame the OP based on pure assumptions, all we can do is relate to the situation the OP is describing because it happens all-to often.

(the only thing wrong with the OP's thread was that it obviously isn't 5mins into the game considering how he's level 6)

Lol! Are you a complete dunce?

There's a reason I'm diamond and have been a top 1% player for 4 seasons, there's a reason my smurfs are higher ranked than any one posting in this thread so far...

The first two responses correctly identified the problem, the op is a poor jungler. It's further confirmed by looking at his op.gg and checking his individual skill metrics which confirms he has a very poor decision making process and a low grasp of in game strategy.

Compare his op.gg to my oOBestEveNAOo account and you can clearly see the differences, and I only started to play jungle in the last year and a half. No, quite simply the problem is the op's lack of skill and his attitude about his lack of skill.

I haven't called any one names, I haven't been rude to any one, ive states facts and used evidence to support the proper way to play the game in the hopes that sharing this information will allow you folks to improve as players.

Even mid lane diamond Ahri mains like rock here know what and who was at fault for this situation and it's dead obvious from the screenshot. In yolo q the best Jg wins 90% of the time and op got massively outplayed by the opposing kha. Here's the thing: That was a PERFECTLY winnable game. Not easily since you, as Lee, are early game + Sion's early game + Zed's early game + the enemy has Kat to clean up Jinx quickly, but it was still a winnable game. Down by 4 early isn't a death sentence without consistency.

But this fact doesn't matter. The op gave up as soon as he took the screen shot and killed the game by having a piss poor attitude in addition to making several glaring early strategic mistakes.

He's missed that this has been the point the whole time. Just ignore's that giving up and blaming your team is a sure fire way to lose winnable games. He instead wants to be patted on the back and told "there there, its not your fault" when it is his fault.

chipndip11 votes

It's a team game, so it's usually not ALL someone's fault. He messed up allowing Khaz to get a strong early influence with little competition from himself, seeing how Khaz is stronger later than Lee is. Also, if everyone except him died once and Khaz has a 75% kda at the time, that means Khaz ganked at least 2 different lanes without him successfully influencing anything. That's where the issue lies for the pic, but even then, if he had managed to put some power into Jinx, he could have used her to carry all these early game champs. However, she went like 3/13 and got completely bodied, so despite the OP's efforts, he lost.

And sure, there's some validity to this, but the point, as you state yourself, is that he allowed his team to fall this far behind and then lacked the ability to come up with and execute a plan to get back into the game.

To me the absolute worst part is that he's 15/3 when everyone else on the team is something like 2/11. Really? You hogged all those resources, played selfishly, refused to help your laners out to make them relevant and effective forces, then bitch about them being irrelevant? You could clearly outplay the opposition despite thier huge lead, why didn't you do anything at all with you talent and allow the team to crumble around you? Look at his objective control from that match. Terrible ward score, giving up free objectives left and right, complete failure to participate with your team for team objectives... How can you expect to win when you make dozens of basic fundamental mistakes? And then how on earth can you turn around and bitch about your teammates when it was the mistakes you were making that cost you the match and not thier general ineptitude? I just don't understand that kind of thing from players like op. I can't wrap my head around that level of foolishness.

What happens in my games when this go that far south in a similar fashion? This: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/GD/9W0xsew2-tfw-the-opposing-team-of-platinum-players-has-a-15k-gold-lead . I don't blame my team and give up. I find ways to make them be useful.

First off, they bodied your link.

Secondly, I don't want to shove the op's face too hard into the results of the match like that. The "it's all you" mentality helps to drive people, but it also can discourage people when it's applied poorly. OP did mess up his early game a good bit, and for a Lee, that's tragic. Still, for his bot lane to do that badly, they need a good excuse for that one.

Side note: I think he got fed primarily by beating on Khaz. The entire enemy team looked healthy as hell, but Khaz got ran through the dirt with 10 deaths. >_>

So like I said, Kat cleaned the shit up out of your Jinx (and more by the looks of it) and Jinx never got online. Zed may have got back on the ball somewhere, but he slumped back down. You went 15/3, but you can't carry later in the game as Lee. Sion also did average at best.

As a jungler, unless you're playing something like Yi or Udyr, you aren't going to win single-handedly. When Khaz helped put 3 kills on his team early, that was a good sign that you needed to do something as Lee Sin, but you didn't lose at that point. I'm not gonna do you like Jaymc is by saying it's ALL your fault because I don't know everything that happened, but it was possible to win when it was 0:4. Really just needed to put some power into Jinx early on. She was your main win condition for that game. If anything, I'd blame you for not putting in enough hustle to really grab the lead seeing how you had all these early game champs, assuming you had the chance.

The thing is, if I was jinx and I told you it was the lee sin's fault we lost you would say otherwise. There is an obvious bias to where every single thing in the game is my fault. If my top laner dies to a 1v1 at min 2 while I'm doing blue buff that would somehow be my fault.

Good players blame themselves for every mistake, regardless of if they made it or not. They accept blame for any mistake because they know they could have done something differently that might have changed the outcome.

Only piss poor players with bad attitudes blame thier teammates for everything. I get shit tier players for teammates all the time and you know who I blame after every loss? Me. Because if I had played better, smarter, communicated better, I could have forced my teammates to play better than they did and I failed to do so.

The blame is always yours. It doesn't mean it's only yours, but you are always to blame for your fair portion. In the screen shot you show you are 100% to blame for the state of the game because you were too busy playing selfishly to recognize what was needed of you when and where and why. No ifs ands or buts, if every lane loses, and it's after 3:30 into game, it's your fault as a jungler for failing to understand your role and function on a strategic level. You should always, 100% of the time, be capable of making certain one lane wins as a Jg so you can concentrate your efforts on the half of the map that was having trouble. Basic. Fundamental. Stuff.

If that jinx was sitting here complaining we'd rightly pick her apart for HER fair portion of responsibility, her poor positioning, farm rate, ward habits, lane pressure, etc. it's YOUR job as a Jg to get some one ahead early so you can focus on objectives and resetting lanes that had difficulty. The screenshot only proves what you failed to do as a player and that's what we are picking you apart for. You don't get a free pass for making mistakes just because your teammates sucked, if anything, this actually makes your personal play MORE important, not less, your mistakes become magnified, not shrunk.

If you are the best player in a match and feel you deserve to win and climb then act like the best player in a match and impose your will on the game.

Good, what ELSE did you do to put your lackluster teammates in a position to succeed? Thats not gonna be enough. There's more you can do, and there's more you should have done. Both prior to and after this screen shot. Those are the things you need to think about.

The amount of responces you have on this thread and your bias against junglers is honestly quite sad and somewhat concerning.

Bad jungling advice and perspectives are something I find highly annoying. They give other players the wrong impression about how to play the game and this stunts the growth not only of yourself, but potentially any one who reads the thread. There's no reason to allow misinformation or poor information to damage other players chances of improving. So that information needed correcting.

I have no bias against junglers. These days I mostly play jg myself. If anything I'm biased FOR the JG. We are the most important members of any team, we have the greatest influence on the game, we determine how successful our laners are going to be unless they are just inordinately more talented than the opposition, we control the pace and flow of the game, we are the primary shot callers, the GREATEST weight of responsibility in a match falls on us as junglers for managing the strategic elements of the game. We have to know that our advantages HAVE to transition into advantages for the laners because of their inherent strategic functions (ADCs are the best tower takers, we have to put enough resources into our adcs to make sure they can take towers effectively, etc) and how important those functions are to winning a match. If I would blame myself if I was in your shoes you can be sure I'll blame you for the same things I'd blame myself for.

You need to know where to be when, why, and what to do when you get there as a JG. Its the most important aspect of jungling, anticipation and awareness. That screen shot shows a lack of these things and its something you should correct before placing any blame on any one other than yourself.

No, I'd say "You shouldn't expect that Lee to help you guys given that score, thus you should have played safer because I doubt you'd be getting any help. After that, just pray and clench your sphincter".

Something along those lines. Doesn't mean the Jinx didn't fuck up, but it does imply that you didn't help the situation, much like I'm doing now, so I think I'm being consistent.

Sohleks2 votes

I mean while you are Lee Sin so can probably counter whatever ganks the Kha tries, I'm still actually against the notion this is the jungler's fault.

When I play lane that's not a valid excuse. "Oh I got ganked; my jungler is wasting time." No.

Laning not just laner vs. laner but laner vs. jungler interaction too. I'm accounting for the risk of the enemy jungler while laning while gauging what advantages I can go for in lane. When the enemy jungler is revealed elsewhere on the map that's when aggression is fine and when the popular first gank timings roll around that's when you should be a bit more smart.

Guess it helps I play ranged bullshit all the time but.

It's important to play chill in lane and not ride everything on every cs and constant trades but detach and ward and maybe even go scouting looking for other lane ganks or invades. Don't just sit there and be a sitting duck full out in your lane to gank for 15 straight fk'ing minutes. If I'm top lane versus a champion I know I likely can't kill I might do something strategic like slow push 3 waves which gets you level 3 then invade the enemy jungle while your opponent is under tower. Sometimes you find a jungler half hp doing camps or scuttle crab and sometimes of that you can kill them and your whole team is safer for the rest of the game. I digress anyways.

But I find laners are far more key than junglers. I'll take an afk farming jungler any day over a sucky laner. Just don't feed please jungler. Just stay invisible at the very least. Don't give double buffs. Everything pivots on laners including the difficulty of the jungler's job. Your job is literally to pve and take 2v1 fights XD

I find much more success putting better players in the lanes. The jungler is just extra. Support 2.0

And while it's easy to say I'd rather have 3 good laners over 1 mediocre jungle it really is just everything. pivots. on. the laners. And yeah those laners fk'd up in that picture imo. Sucky laners. Suck.

Yeah there are SOME situations pressure is unavoidable for a lane (mostly top lane). But it's actually rare it has to hurt you a lot more than some cs. It can usually be fixed by playing stronger bullshit top or a different decision with wave management 30 seconds ago or sumthing.

I think it's just popular to hate on the jungler cause they're outnumber'd 1 to 4 and have to put up with everyone's shit.

We can certainly relate, those games happen. But the way I deal with it and the way you deal with it says a lot about you as a player.

not "omg stupid feeder team gg im stuck in elo hell wa wa wa"

When the only text in the op (until the very recent edit adding: purely a salt post) being: When its 5 minutes in and one of those games...

It makes a statement. And probably not the one you intended. Furthermore it sets a very bad example for other newer players to potentially follow in the future. I don't want ANY one to see this thread and think its acceptable to come to the boards and whine about the players on their team without first considering where and what mistakes they made themselves and how the game could have gone differently had those mistakes not been made.

The reason for being so blunt with you isn't to upset you, or shame you, or offend you, or anything of the sort.

What I want is for you to take situations like this, in the future, and think critically about them from every angle. I want you to come to the board and instead of posting "its one of THOSE games" post something like "So what do I do in this situation? I goofed and didn't help out in lanes early and kha was being really active. What's the best way to get back into a game like this when your teammates have proven that they will most likely under perform? Is it best to pick a lane and just try to snowball it by camping it? Should I try to take a tower real fast and convince my top lane and bot lane to swap lanes? Should I focus on getting neutral objectives to bring my teams power levels back up to a respectable enough level that they can be on equal footing with the opposition? What can I, myself do, to make up for my mistakes AND my teammates in this situation."

That kind of thought process and attitude is what makes a good player a good player. They learn from everything and anything. They always question what they could have done better. Everything posted in this thread has been posted with the hope that you will, in the future, adopt this thought process and attitude and improve as a player.
