aatrox isn't actually bad. A while ago he got some really good buffs after they gutted his kit and now he is surprisingly good. I'd recommend getting deaths dance and phantom dancer on him.

Aatrox is way easier to play and he doesn't need voice chat for his ult to be useful.

If voice chat be added, it would increase Ryze's solo queue win rate by a good amount, probably a few percent up to Azir tier. It's just so hard to communicate in middle of a fight to coordinate a good ultimate. I'm not a fast typist either, so doing it in standard chat isn't a good option. Pings for help and omw only do so much. All for voice chat here.
