Talking about against good players that aren't shit and let you build retarded.

The general build for tanks in lane was 2-3 into , but frankly sunfire is a terrible item now. So what do you tank mains rush?

Personally I went back to 2-3 into on my Sion.

I feel like rush is okay against AP laners, but what do you rush against AD's if you want any form of damage? rush? I dunno, feeling a void where sunfire use to be, not sure how to fill it for adding DPS to my build. Luckily Sion has some good base damages so he's hurt a bit less than some other tanks from sunfire nerfs.

This isn't really a complaining thread, more of a "wtf do you build for damage for tanks so you can actually lane" thread.

You'd still want Sunfire for the clearing as most Tanks don't have great clear without expending most of their mana.

To be honest, I should think tanks ought to be able to rely on said spells for clearing. Yet their arn't a ton of options for Caster oriented tank items.

In the past, my rush item on the Likes of Sion would be a Frozen Heart. And at the time I could do that, I could rely on my spells enough, that I didn't need the extra wave clear from sunfire. I could spend the extra gold on even Tankier items. Though at the moment, ICB might be better now given it has slighly more mana, and a higher wave clear potential.

The only other Item that works for tanks is Righteous glory. Over all, the Eternity passive isn't bad for sustaining your mana. But the item alone, I feel isn't slot efficient enough to justify building on a solo laner.

item 3025 is a great trade tool in lane... i like getting it on maokai... has been one of my go to items forever... they expect ap damage... but he has a really high base ad (one of the highest in the game ) and i have always followed up any ability with the auto to proc the aoe slow and the bonus ad damage and to do a full trade/combo you do damage they arent expecting...

i even had some recent games with item 3025 item 3053 on tree and won
