To those people who call others tryhard as an insult or complaint

Yes I am a tryhard, thank you very much.

I want to win.

I want to climb.

If you have a problem with that, stay in Bronze.

I can understand calling someone a tryhard in norms...

But in ranked? Just what? Isn't that what you're there for?...

It's used more in normals than in ranked.

In normals, tryharding is sorta frowned upon, as the goal in normals is to have fun and by definition, tryharding is ruining the fun for someone else plus yourself, for the sake of winning.

I use normals as a way to practice for ranked.

Whenever I play Nidalee in norms I get called a tryhard. I mean, I just want to chill with my favorite champ in a casual game. I'm sorry that you had to do deal with my anti-fun playstyle.

in rankeds there is only tryharding or trolling.

In normals however i can understand people complaining about it.

In rotating game modes tryharding is just a sad thing to do for sad lonely unwanted miscarriages

As for me, I'd only try hard for chests, otherwise, I'm fine being average.

Unless its a normal game.

I never use the term, since players' vocabulary and grammatical understanding and usage has cratered through the floor and they abuse the word like a Catholic altar boy. If you're the kind of person who uses stock noises like "don't feed and we win gg lol" and expect that to actually mean anything at this point, you're not a tryhard; you're an idiot who can't come up with an original thought. If you base your entire champion and build decisions based on meta-game charts and numbers or what the LCS players do, and then get on the cases of OTHERS for not doing the same, you're not just a tryhard, you're also a fucking tool.

Yeah, but like... there's wanting to win, and then there's playing 65+% winrate tank top lane ekko in normals last patch lol

I only complained about tryhards in URF.

The only time i called out tryhards was in urf... those people who's match history is 60% fizz, 40% zed

Backdoor in a game when the match is fair and equal due 2-3 people are dead for like 70sec because of scared / desperate needs

= Tryhard.

I'd like my opponents to win with a fair push and fight. If you have to kick me in the balls first then i don't respect you. But hey, nothing is fair and equal in DQ these days so i cant expect anything.

You either sink low enough to pick the most broken champ of the patch and tell yourself that you actually made an effort or you can climb with a champion that you find is intresting/unique and struggle.

So what about LCS than? If you plan to climb in the ladder and this type of behavior is unacceptable, than should people in LCS be kicked out?

What about LCS? Because pro players does it, it's acceptable then? They are just adjusting to the current gamestyle of LoL: poke, splitpush, engage 2-3 fights under 30mins and then backdoor. And it's a different situation since they have ALOT of money on the table, then i would do the same.

comparing Dynamic Queue and LCS is just wrong, since they are basically there to get the money at any prize, while Dynamic/Solo queue is based on climbing the ladder and how do you do that?

You grow as a player by experimenting with new builds/champions and get a good perspective on how your current opponent works. To defeat the enemy, you need to learn his champions first.

Not by premade boosting and backdoor.
