Why are adc's allowed to hit late game damage 10 minutes in?

Sorry for the very bad quality on the video, I have no idea how to upload stuff and I had to use the record thing in the lol spectate feature to record this.

Alright so I just got out of a game where I was flamed by 5 people for saying that adc's were over powered and ap's were weak.

I'm posting this small clip of a jinx deleting me 10 minutes in because I wanted to give a bit of proof for my case. She proceeded to 3-4 shot everyone on my team for the rest of the game from that point onward. Oh, and I know tf had his E proc ready but it should not have done anywhere near that much damage, he only had attack speed.

Why are adc's allowed to do so much damage right now? why are they doing so much burst damage? I mean for the designated "sustained damage role" they sure are doing every other classes role just fine. I mean look at the LCS, the only carry midlaners that are played are corki, lucian, and syndra (and I saw cassio a few times). The rest are all just support midlaners like taliyah and orianna who just waveclear until their team needs them to support in teamfights.

I think Midlane mages are having a real identity crisis right now. I mean they are the ones who are supposed to be doing the burst damage, why are adc's appropriating their role in the game? I mean is it really sustained damage anymore if you are getting deleted by ranged auto attacks faster than 90% of the assassins in the game?

If I were riot at this point I would just remove crit. Crit is breaking adcs by giving them auto attacks that do too much damage to hide under the guise of "sustained damage." give IE 140 ad and give phantom dancer 70% attack speed I don't care, just eliminate this RNG bs double damage crap from the game, its not healthy and no one likes this burst damage adc meta. item 3031 and item 3087 break this game, they are the biggest problems with balance right now and they need to be fixed.

I dont understand your complaint.

You got crit once for 200 damage from an ADC.

The rest were basic bitch AAs from Jinx and TF. You lose a 1v2 you had absolutely no right to win. This had nothing to do with Jinx or ADCs being too strong at that point in the game.

Also, that burst is very misleading. But you got hit by a Jinx Rocket Crit, and a TF E proc + Red card at the same time. Thats a lot of damage, not just coming from Jinx.

16 seconds in. I was crit for 200 but where did the rest of the 500 damage come from? there was no way it could have come from TF since all he had was attack speed. The only thing I can think of is that tf was running 1% crit or something and he and jinx crit at the same time. how else can you explain that burst of damage? Im not sure where the damage came from but it must have been from either jinx or tf, and tf had no damage items, only attack speed.

oh and no, there was no red card that hit me, he was in pick a card when the burst damage hit, and i was hit by a minigun crit actually

Youre right, there was no pick a card.

But see, now you dont even know what killed you, so you automatically blame the Jinx. Despite the fact that the only big damage she did was the 200 damage crit. The rest was from her base attack and TFs + TFs E proc. (and maybe Thunderlords, I cant quite tell.)

EDIT: if TF was maxing his E, that is an extra 155 damage flat out added to that attack. Thats a large portion of the missing damage that killed you.

yeah, i have no clue what killed me, im attributing it to jinx because the tf had no damage built other than bloodrazor, which just isn't enough damage to account for the burst. Yeah tf was maxing E, but the numbers just don't add up because he had no extra ap and I was running about 42 mr.

Might be the legendary 1% crit rune on tf.\

EDIT: Didn't read carefully enough.

Unlucky crit. Plus TF had a completed bloodrazer which is a power spike on that champ, especially with his e proc

i dont think 4% max hp damage per auto accounts for that burst damage

First, thanks for providing a video, this is so much more helpful than "omg got 1 shot by X" Now to the topic, jinx was left unchecked in this fight to auto way too much, blitz had a decent pull but jinx burned flash - you should have backed right there after your spells were on CD, it was 2v1 and jinx got better positioning.

Also she hit you so many times, you had no business taking so many hits and staying to fight TF while jinx is slowly shooting you to death.

Edit: also how nice to ignore how janna was insta gibbed, didnt even notice it started as a 3v2 lol, yea, the fact you got a kill and burned flash+heal on jinx and almost got double kill really screams "late game DPS jinx"

yeah I went back in because the tf was low and I thought I had morrelo finished at that point, also I think I used ignite on janna without thinking about it so I didn't think that jinx heal could beat my damage. I didn't really care about the game at that point, 95% of my games are decided by which adc gets fed so I kind of just internally gave up at that point and decided to be greedy. I mean I ended the game 7-3--14 with about 36% of my entire teams damage (31,000 done by me) so I wasn't really trolling, but I wasn't playing to win anymore. I mean there just isn't anything I can do against a fed adc, it doesn't matter how long i keep them stunned or how much damage I do to them, they will outdamage my entire team combined.

I mean almost every game I have played within the past few months can be summarized by "My/Their ADC is doing too much damage per crit to deal with." Every criticism I have with ADC's falls within crit as a stat. I mean most adc's can crit for more damage than a mages ability once they finish IE. From that point on the difference only gets greater as the ADC builds more ad which scales so much better with crit than AP scales with ability damage.

Oh okay, so to answer your question adc hit their "late game damage" because you missplay and "dont care".
