Is anyone else getting tired of games ending in under 15 minutes? Surrenders have become extremely common in 15-20 minute because the games are snowballing so bad. Summoner rifts are ending quicker that Arams, anymore. Riot has things like dragons, Infernal Dragon in particular, 1st Tower gold, Weak towers that do no damage and other elements that let one team just snowball too quickly. It's just not fun. What do you all think?
They aren't. They literally just fucking aren't. I've checked and it is very, very uncommon to have a game end at 15 - 20 minutes. And between 20- 25 minutes only another 4 percent are going to end there. GAMES ARE NOT QUICKER FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP SPREADING THIS ANNOYING AND FALSE ILLUSION. For fucks sake this has gotten me pissed...

not sure what mmr you play in but i've played about 30 games since i got back and exactly 1 we surrendered at 15 minutes, everything else went at least past 20 where only a few games surrendered earlier than 25.
It's not necessarily the case for a lot of people. BUT, a lot of games ARE being decided before the 15 minute mark. I.E losing the first tower. A lot of champions snowball far too hard IMO. And it's sad that 2 items on an ADC is considered mid-late game. I love the 30-35 minute games where you feel as if you have a chance to catch up in some gold and fight.
I agree 100%. ARAM just seems like a mini-game now. Like Riot's version of the car-smashing game in SF2.
Whatever they have done recently to "speed up" the duration of games has sucked all the fun out of it. Turrets are pointless, damage is insane (even from tanks), and a single ACE mid-game is almost always GG. I don't feel like i can get into a single game anymore.
They are ending fast so stop say its not noobs!! Like the normal games , ranked specialy AI ones, i meet the other day a guy...new guy in this game in AI game , he was so mad and complening he doesent have time to rly test the champ or go full build because some lane is pushing faster then all idiots go in that lane push in the base and farm them while destroy the turrets....this game its not fun anymore , ppl are assholes in the way they act and if u say something they start with that bullshi.t "report X flaming" , so stfu and kiss my ass , rethink who the assholes rly are , some ppl rly doesent give a shit on that crap "its just a game" they actualy put some feelings in what they do and when assholes come and troll well...not funny sometimes and they flame , normal reaction.
If we nerfed ADCs so that they didn't reach their lategame powerspike until 4 items, instead of 1.5-2, this wouldn't be an issue.
I still think it's about the intentionally unbalanced games, aka matchmaking and average 50% win ratio, than about snowballing elements.
I have far more games that end with the team with fewer kills winning than with a 15 minute surrender vote. Just last night, my team wanted to surrender against a 13/3 Kat at 20 minutes and me and Trist declined the vote and we won. We were down in kills 42-38 and gold 67k - 65k when we won.

Been this way since mid season 6 and all of season 7 so far. Best season was season 5. You could actually carry feeders back then. Too bad I barely played any ranked then.
