I'm looking at the bads in my latest seeding ranked matches and I'm deeply disturbed that people who somehow got to Platinum are this bad. I guess either boosting or getting carried would be the case but it feels a lot more like "grind enough games and you'll get there" turning into "get lucky on your series and 50/50 your way up the ladders" until finally you're pushing diamond.

Really, Riot? You're gonna make me stop just quitting at Gold and make the move to Plat so I can laugh at people for being bad now? That's ridiculous. I don't wanna do more work than needed to show I can still do well in your game with mediocre champions vs. FOTM steamrollers and overtuned hypercarries.

What people don't realize is that Platinum is average. It used to be Gold, but with the addition of a new tier average got bumped up to Platinum.

Bronze- The worst Silver- bad Gold- below average Platinum- average Diamond- above average Master- good Challenger- The best

Like I said I stop at gold just because that's where I get free stuff.

I can freely laugh at people below me, too, because of how pathetic it has become to get 'high tier' ranks in this game :c
