Anyone else notice this

The pace of matches has gotten quicker, like people quit almost as soon as the game starts. did riot change something? I remember some fiasco with minions and trying to intentionally quicken games, but this is ridiculous! Three games in a row now i have had a mid laner quit because some one was being passively aggressive or some other stupid reason, all three games i was playing jng and i found myself overwhelmed in the moments leading up to someone leaving or giving up. Not like "I am bad at jng" sort of thing, im very good at jng, its like 5 minutes in I have to help top while mid AND bot need help, by the time im done trying to help people im 2 -3 lvls behind everyone and most the time people want me to 1v1 their laner while they are almost dead or are waiting for the KS or something stupid and right after that laning phase is over and its barely 10 minutes. Like what happened that all the sudden laning phase ends as soon as the game starts?

In the case you desciped yes games are indeed faster it's to make comebacks more impactful and to help winners close games. One way the minions get more powerful is if the adverage lvl of one team is higher than the other have a 3 min afk means the adverage drops fast thus allowing the game to end quicker so you have another

ya but what im saying is that as soon as the enemy gets that average lvl advantage everyone gets all irrational and throws the game. It is having a negative impact, not to mention the fact that counter jng has all but dissipated in the sense that now as a jng who needs to farm a lot to get devourer you cant because you cant get a fully sated devourer in less than 10 minutes. So in that sense there is no room for that much strategic play in the jng.

Not a jungler so I can't offer much insite on that part

ya im being more specific towards jng here. They have a harder time farming, and now what your seeing are jnglers who can get an easy gank off during lvls 2 or 3 and jngs, like even Kindred, who have to farm for a while to be relatively viable are easily countered. Like Kindred has to get her marks, for instance, which spawn occasionally on scuttle and mostly on enemy jng. You can get a mark in lane, but it is not likely to get lucky enough for the one you marked to 1. not back off after you mark them and before the mark fully sets ( after you select the mark you have to wait for a few seconds before it takes effect ) so you can get a mark off the kill 2. for you to not be to far behind to think about getting any kill due to the fact your trying to get as many marks as possible 3. for you to get lucky enough to have anyone on your team A. in any kind of position to help u and B. willing to help you, in the first place, to get your marks. At this point your hoping that you can farm some, barely keep up with the enemy, in terms of lvls, in order to assist your team in the late game, assuming no one has quit, fed, gotten salty cause you aren't camping every lane, YOU NAME IT AND ITS THE JNG's FAULT YOUR LOOSING. I digress ....

P.S. - its 5 times worse than that Kindred example for those who use devourer ...

Well, I'm no expert but as few things come to mind.

  1. Your shouldn't feel you have to help. Personally i an always reading the map and looking for opportunities to get my lane ahead. If they are pushed in because they are bullied or playing passive, I want to punish the opponent.

  2. If I can figure out early that a lane is unskilled, I will avoid his lane. It's much better for the team to try and get a decent player fed, or myself, than to spend time trying to protect a bad player.

  3. I've noticed lots of junglers try to secure a kill and when they fail, they don't back off. Just scaring the opposing laner is a good gang imo. Or laners don't back when you've just saved them. A few pings will help them understand.

  4. Is this ranked? If not, don't worry about it. It's detrimental to say why don't my teammates do this or that. You can't control them and you can't guarantee you will be matched with good players. And you can't play five champs at the same time. Just play your role well and the other team will have to respect your improving ability. That said, it takes a while to get the hang of it. But once you're better.... You'll always have that.

Good luck

It literally just happened again, top jax started loosing to a riven, mid ekko started loosing to a nid (some how), and bot ashe/blitz lost to a trist lulu. I was doing well, but i literally couldnt with top pinging the fuck outta me and bot being a scummy ass bastard since champ select and mid honestly try but still i cant get any kills on nid because she runs away so fast. like i literally wanted to ff teh game 10 minutes in it was that bad.
