What boots do you usually buy on supports?

So I was wondering,which boots do you usually buy on supports?

I buy BoS but I'm thinking of switching to BoM.

usually mobility on janna, soraka etc, mercs on leona, sorcs on lux, ahri, velkoz etc

Depends honestly, if I need to get to lane quick and move around the battlefield relatively quickly item 3117 .

If I want to spam my CDs, item 3158 .

If I'm against an all AD team, item 3047 .

Mobility boots are just pretty mehh in most situations...I'll only really get them if I'm a ways ahead on blitzcrank or something. It's a lot of money to dump into stats that don't actually help you fight (especially if you are behind). Would generally recommend either ninja tabi (maximum durability), mage pen boots (if you are a mage...), or lucidity (for janna or something). Also I honestly think it's fine to just get boots 1 and not even upgrade...rushing something like a locket (or zhonyas if you are fiddle/morg) makes a way bigger difference.

Usually always mobi's for early game. Transitioning into mid-late where fights are more prevalent and negation of CC is needed, Merc Treads, otherwise Tabi/Swiftness depending on the enemy team comp.

item 3158 if I can't build a lot of cdr support items item 3117 for healers item 3047 for tanks item 3111 for tanks, or if the enemy has a lot of cc item 3020 for AP poking supports and I actually need a little more early game damage but can't build a lot of AP
