Random idea, re: Mobility
Just spitballing, how's this for an idea (maybe interesting, maybe terrible) What if, Towers have a radius (at start, the current range of the Tower), this radius BEGINS at the current range, but is independent of the current tower range, so the other aspects of this idea do not affect tower targeting range. So anyway, within the "radius" you cannot use mobility abilities except the summoner spell flash (and maybe ghost), no champion abilities for dash, blink, etc work within the tower radius. Also if you try to dash INTO the Radius, you'll stop at the edge like Poppy's Steadfast Presence. The Radius falls a set amount until X point (10 mins? 20 mins?) at which point Towers do not affect abilities at all. But players can ALSO reduce the radius by damaging the tower, and if Tower is below half HP then the affect disappears for that Tower.
The Timer is to keep Towers from being too oppressive to movement as champions scale. And the damage drops mean you can still siege it down, so the players should defend their Tower carefully so maintain the protection. But the radius keeps people from just early divebombing someone under tower and dashing away. (if you have someone to tank turret shots or are willing to die, you can still run under enemy turrets, but it's a really risky proposition) Flas still works, so you can do that if you want to HARD commit to the effort.
This makes Towers more protective, WITHOUT making them harder to tear down (aside from making it more difficult to remove the defenders themselves).
