I quit.

I used to get hooked, get pissed, leave for a while then come back with a new update just to restart the cycle.

Now that Riot has changed their philosophy from "The player's enjoyment" to "Money, skins and damage" I quit and have not felt the urge to come back since. I've been here for 3 years, Good bye Riot and your shitty methods. I'll go play games I think are ACTUALLY fun and not a game run by a bunch of fucking greedy businessmen that own a videogame.

For my case, I didn't actually "quit" the game. I just don't feel like playing anymore, the game is too fast paced for me. I don't bother opening it because I know I won't enjoy it

Gonna keep pointing out the damage was at the request of the community.

The "Money Skins Damage" statement is really unfair.

Point 1. The community asked for a more damage focused game. Now did they possibly go a little overboard after S5s (worst fucking season in league history btw) horrid tank meta? yea..... a little, but in the end. This is what the community asked for.

Point 2. Riot is a company. They need to focus on making money to keep the lights on. No money = no game. A businesses #1 priority is and should be, to make money. Otherwise what is the point of putting your financial future on the line to run a business.

Point 3. As someone who has more or less stopped playing league in its entirety for almost a full year now (other than the occasional once ever 5 months night of ARAM) I dont blame riot or the direction they have taken the game for why I stopped. For a while I thought "yea. Its Riots Fault" before I realized that I had started playing the game in S2. I had been playing the same game for over 5 years. At what point is it that I have changed and what I enjoy has shifted as well.

I dont play any MOBAs anymore. The genre doesnt interest me. If you truly stop playing League for 6 months to a year I think you will come to the same realization. The game hasnt changed. you have.

I still enjoy the boards even if I dont play anymore. 30% of the posts are like yours, but occasionally you find the 5% of posts in which you can actually help a new player with the game and help guide them towards good sources of information so they can really gain a better understanding of the game. So while I no longer have a passion to play the game. I still want to see the game thrive.
