I did it :D

I did it :D
And you're going to keep doing it too.
I would hope. I was afraid I wouldn't get through promos tbh. I'm a katarina main, and I got my secondary (jungle) 4/5 times. The Fizz jungle pulled through though. Thanks for the support :D.
Katarina main. I feel so bad for you right now. During this CC heavy meta its pretty difficult.
http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=The+Dunk+God
Its honestly not as hard as you would think. However I expect it to get much harder the further I climb.
Also, +1 for your name lmao.
I thought you were a Darius player actually
Thanks fam. My one before this got a forced rename. Elise Creampie with my duobro Sion Creampie (ironically they haven't made him change).
But yeah, it gets harder for katarina around mid to high silver because shitters start learning to just cc her or pick point and click lock down champs against her like Maokai or Malzahar.
I main Rengar so I'm not too happy about the cc meta either...
Hey man, I mained her to high Platinum, so if you want any tips or builds, feel free to ask me and add me in-game. Good luck climbing!
By any chance could you do any coaching? Maybe just spectate a game or something through skype call? Ill add you in game either way!
I could likely do it in a Discord chat, but I refuse to download Skype. I have to admit I am not the absolute greatest at coaching, but I will definitely point out a few things to improve on.
Good job, Fam!
<3
I failed my Plat promos yesterday. I was so tilted.
Aw RIP :(
My Goal by the end of the season is gold :D. It probably would have just been high silver, but I have a few people who believe I have what it takes for gold. Not sure if I agree with them but we will see :D
Gold is not so hard to get really. Alot of people think its about how consistently you can carry games. But I found that to be false in my experience.
I main jungle, and I had to try a bunch of shit out and play plenty of games to realise my ability to carry was always trumped by my ability to support my lanes and snowball them. Which is why usually play Nautilus, Rek'sai or Kindred.
As Naut and Rek'sai, I usually have good ganking pressure, allowing me to get my lanes ahead, and when teamfights happen, I just focus on peeling for the carries.
As Kindred its a little different. I can carry, but usually keep my ult for my Adc or mid laner rather than myself.
I think the secret to winning consistently enough in League of Legends is about not making mistakes enough to end up being a positive factor for your team, and in the end, that influences team morale and winrate.
Worked for me anyway.
EDIT: Once you accept the fact that you can't carry every game you play, you understand that sometimes, sitting back and just helping your fed teammate is the way to go. That got me lots of wins.

THIS
This is why I got to S1 (and hopefully gold by the end of next week) with annie. Her ult devastates anyone it touches even with the stun so I'd get bot fed. Then when it came to mid game, annie devastates that too so I'd just ult a clump of them and boom, teamfight won.
It seems to be more about helping out your team and getting them fed. Sure you can carry if you're REALLY good (like plat but in silver or so), but if you're legit trying to climb, I find just helping your team get fed does the trick. Then you get fed off assists as well.
The only problem I find is people realize in gold that annie has low range. So they pick champs with higher range. I go to engage and I can't do anything. But they can cause they can engage at a bigger distance. Thinking of going with vel now. He's actually in a pretty good spot I think and I DO prefer playing him. Gonna start trying him out as support and see where it ends up.

That's why the flash ult stun is so popular, but then your basically using flash 24/7 for kills rather than staying safe.

Exactly. The problem is that her ult is up around every minute and flash is up around every 3-5 minutes (I forget the cd but its at least triple the time). So we get 1 kill with her ult due to flash. Another incident occurs though and I can't do anything cause low range and I blew flash eariler.
Annie is good for getting through silver (and for going against boosted scrubs due to DQ :P), once past that though, people know annie's weakness. And they exploit it.
Flash CD is 5 Minutes. Also using the flash is 100% worth it if you can get the stun on multiple people
I failed it 3 times already this season D: FeelsSoBadMan.
Yeah :c
Its the highest I've ever been so I'm still very happy I made it there, but the feeling of having a huge win streak (15 wins in 20 games) and then just lose 3 games back to back as soon as I enter my series. It's quite tilting.
It's exactly what happened to me. I was Silver 2 this season and decided to climb. Gold was surprisingly easy, but the promos....

Me every time.
As a gold jungler myself, my advice to you is to prioritize dragons. Try to set up your team around drag 30 seconds before it spawns to zone the enemy team off. Smite securing can be stressful, but make sure you keep your eye on the dragon's tens digit of health. Smite the moment you see it fall below your Smite (i.e. If you have a 480 smite, don't look for 480, you will smite at like 484 and get punished. React at 470 instead)
Thanks for the Advice, will keep it in mind.
You made me proud bro. You made me proud!!

Lol dynamic que means nothing though lol.
Dynamic Queue is worse and worse for higher elo players as people can easily boost their account with their high level friends. I don't think many people are hiring their buds to boost them to silver, and even if they are, I'm still playing with someone only a division away from me, which means it would actually be the same, if not harder, than climbing in solo queue.

Your rank means nothing bub 😐
Say what you feel, but it might be smart to read up on the topic a bit more rather than rebounding what pro players saying.

It doesn't mean anything though it isn't as accurate lol
Your just saying the same thing over and over again without providing statistics, which are even more relevant considering I Am in an elo that is not effect by it as much as others.
I failed my Gold promos 6 times last season. I have cancer now.
Grats man :D aim for gold V next season, hope to see you there!
I'm aiming for gold 5 this season mang!
Good luck dude.
Now the real Hell begins.
Wish you luck. You'll need it.
Hey bro, I'm in about the same boat, just solo climbed from Bronze 3 to silver 4 (almost), and am always looking for good duo partners. My Diana mid and Amumu jungle are both pretty good. If you ever wanna chill and climb add me! :D
Ive actually been looking for a duo to climb to gold with, and katarina plus mumu is very strong combo. Adding you right now :)

Glad to have you. I live in Japan, so timing can be a bit rough but I'm up late and will make it work. Hoping to make it to gold as well, in my promos to silver 4 rn. 1 win left!
thanks, youve inspired me to dedicate my saturday to trying to leave bronze again
Awesome! If I had one tip, it would be just spam 1 or 2 champions in your dedicated roles, don't try to counter pick with champions you know, stuff like that. Stick with what you are comfortable with.
Ayyy! Congrats!
So long shit tier elo, hello shit tier elo. WEEEE!!!!
Seriously, well done though. Keep up the good work mate.
Noice! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
Grats man! Now I gotta do it... lol
Ha I'm unranked
INB4 Solo Queuers crying "Dynamic Boosted Trash."
In all seriousness, good job man. I actually just got out of bronze as well. Been playing since season three and this is the first year I was actually motivated to play more ranked than just my placements.
