How is ekko late game?

So I'm looking into adding Ekko to my champion pool to have more champions to play when i get mid lane. Although, to my knowledge, Ekko isn't super relevant due to it being hard to actually do his damage to squishy carries, and one of my biggest pet peeves is not being good late game. So, should i look for a different champion, or just deal with it and learn to end games before that happens, and what other champions should i look at, i was thinking Diana but I can see it being difficult to play Diana in the late game as well.

I'd say he has a decent late game if you know how to play him. First off, he can 1-shot squishies even late game unless they build Maw or GA. Second, his ultimate can literally heal him from 100 HP to full when building AP and late game, it deals 1000+ damage. He's not the best late game mid laner, but I'd say he's one of the better ones for an assassin.

Ekko is by far a mid game champion, benefitting from his high scalings and still having the ability to dive the carries how he wants, look to end the game early or set your team ahead for the late game before you fall off, don't pick him with bad scalers.
