Botlane wins when botlane is synergized. #WeNeedVoiceChat
A really good adc and a really good support can't win together if they're on two different wavelengths.
Bring in voicechat so we can get on that same wavelength.

Id be down so long as its disabled by default, with the option to join via a little button either in lobby or maybe next to the game timer
Should copy HON where it’s like an in game voice comm , and you can mute people’s mics whonsre just trolling
So much better gameplay when you can say mids roaming care , instead of pinging their Gank route out

Both HON and DoTa2 have voice chat and from what I can tell by watching their gameplay on Twitch it seems to be doing just fine. I feel like we are really behind the standard on this one.
It makes a big difference when both people are willing to make it work but no. Toxic communities only get worse with voice chat enabled and literally 99% of gamers now don't understand how press to talk works if you have played overwatch and fortnite and you have to spend the first minute of the game figuring out which people need to be muted instead of doing the things you need to be doing until you eventually just set the feature off by default.
voice chat would be good. and not just for bot lane. You can easily turn games around just by speaking up...well, as long as the team has enough respect for whoever speaks up... focus this. funnel buff. ward here. complete objective. abandon ship. split push. group here. flank there.
ADC in general just attack the closest champion. It's especially risky for an ADC to switch to a target that is further away, and a good support would have that in mind during lane phase. focus can be unreliable with little to no burst damage and/or mobility. It's the difference between asking an ashe and an LB to switch their targets.

Pings are more efficient as well... you didn't need voice chat to call middle is missing in dota 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQCL9P63-kI
Oh well. Probably too late to do anything as cool as that.
I remember before voice chat and pings typing “mid ss”

I remember pubstomping in Dota Allstars both before and after the throneit mod that split teams based on winrate. At one time, at least 2 people would leave before 10 minutes into every public game. Throneit came out, and it was a full game 100% of the time. So much fucking fun lol. I remember being like 30/1.. then having a 70+/3 record was around my peak and i think i eventually dropped below 90% winrate around 100 games. maybe one year later at most the betas for the three stand-alones were announced.
Stand-alones are a blessing, but the most fun I've ever had playing a moba was when the throneit mod for Dota Allstars first came out. No experience could equate to it for me.
FYI DotA Allstars is just the original mod that icefrog(game designer for both HoN and Dota 2) inherited from guinsoo(game designer for LoL)
