Lee sin hasn't been hyper meta in a really long time. Thinking about that and how long that blind fool was allowed to bumble around in the jungle acting like a king its actually a good feeling. I know there is a lot to complain about, but I just randomly had this thought today and it made me happy. Hes not dumpstered and unplayable but the fact I haven't seen one in ages is pleasing to someone who suffered through his cancerous reign.

HibHib15 votesI mean, don't get your observations mixed up with the actual facts, he still has the 4th highest play rate out of any champion in the game at about 13.2%. It is lower than it used to be for sure but he still has a really large player-base because he is fun
HaIlMonitor2 votesIf that number is correct it basically was cut in half. Honestly this is the lowest it has been in 4 years for play rate according to League of graphs and all regions/ranks. Even if a champ is fun it doesn't mean people play them if they are not good. I might be out of the norm, but I only play champs I feel like are super strong in ranked and don't waste my time on "fun" champs outside of normals (Like lee).
Also also according to league of graphs in high elo of Diamond+ he is 48.3% (Which is balanced for a high skill cap champion) in all regions and goes up to from 48.3% in gold to 50.9% in NA. He still wins a lot, but might not just be the Blind pick e-z win jungler anymore like Sej lol.

He isnt down till his R QQ combo is lost. Thats the only real problem he has to my eyes. And even if there are minnions any player who has even basic mechanical skill can smite a creep to hit Q nowadays this aint season 3.

HIs damage is too low in this high damage meta...
Just let that sink in, they didn't nerf his damage... its just that everyone else had their damage buffed through runes.

He did get his damage nerfed.
They literally took 150 damage late game from his ult and then increased the CD by like 20 seconds early game. Which lowers his overall damage from early - late-game.

Potato Doc8 votesWell that move is a lot like chess, trading a lower value piece for a much higher value piece is almost always a good idea. Its not bad just risky especially if from behind or at even levels, but if it works you suddenly become very ahead.

Usually, he is useless when against "late game champs" at their lategame builds, and a lot of the meta right now is sorta decided by that.

LordGeovanni1 votesthats because he is suffering from the same thing every other champion with an effective melee range is. getting 1 shot from crits in under 2 seconds or getting 80% of their hp bursted from mages in one combo (no ult) and that is only if you tried to build one ad item. other wise if you went full tank your survive the mage instagib and survive another half second from adc and yasou crit but you have no damage impact.
