I concede that it's more heavily weighted towards a poke meta currently, but I think your underselling who is viable. Since its really champ specific, i'll just post a few adcs who I think are absolutely killin' it bot lane right now.
Absolutely killing it right now. I've had Jhins deal more damage early with Runes Reforged then I've seen otherwise in a long time. A good Jhin is terrifying right now.
Also sleeper OP right now. Not popular, but there are so many amazing Rune choices for her style of play that you can create an uncatchable nightmare to play against.
Plenty of Lucian being played right now. Again, surprising amount of early game burst.
Perfect against poke comps. Sivir also seeing some great play. She stops champions with big poke, and works well in the current meta.
How could you forget Rocket Girl? Just as broken as ever.
And Twitch - he's still seeing lots of play, and he's straight up terrifying in good hands.
Last but not least, Xayah is still rocking it on the rift. How could you possibly say that she's unplayable right now? Girls a beast.
So yea, I think your wrong about viability. All of them are amazing picks currently. As for who needs help? maybe
?? Though I still think they are solid as heck. Potential for overbuffing is real.
As for supports? SInce im a support main, here's a few Supports who are destroying it right now:
Top of my list. Holy crap. No one realizes how much damage you can get out of Leona yet, but Im calling her OP right now. No ones realized what the new runes have done to her. If she becomes meta, she will dominate.
Coming back as a AP burst support with tons of threat. Blitz is always high in the meta because of his hook, but he seems to be really popular lately.
Again, goes with what your saying, but Lux is in a great spot to actually break the mold and become a viable support champion.
MF as a support is killer right now, all her adaptive scalings go to AP, so her abilities wind up dealing a freakishly large amount of damage.
Also seeing plenty of Ornn down there in bot lane. He might be a bit overtuned right now, but simply terrifying in good hands. His ultimate keeps him relevant, and his abilities can finally carry him through the laning phase decently.
I havent seen a TON of Taric, but again, Runes Reforged have been kind to him. Very strong, just not a lot of players realizing it yet.
Anyway, my central takeaway is that poke comps are the most POPULAR strategy, and definitely easy to do, but they are not the only viable option. There are plenty of good counters to a fragile poke comp right now.
