I have read that Kindred consists of two champions, Lamb, the main one, and Wolf, a persistantly untargetable champion that helps with lambs spells.

Is wolf only a separate unit in terms of visuals, or is he coded as one too?

If he is coded as a seperate champion, does this cause things like MonkeyKingIrelia passive to gain more benefit from being near Kindred?

Kindred is One champion with two entities.
