Can someone please explain the Shadow Assassin passive? What exactly is the bonus damage? I've looked it up but I still don't get it :l

Its like... 56% of the damage you deal is gained as magic damage in the first second of combat at level 18 i think?

Its just more burst.

So my confusion lies in that I don't understand where the bonus damage is coming from; whether it's all damage dealt ever or in a specific window of time.

Keep in mind that is post mitigation damage so its not really 56% at all.

Wait I think I figured it out. For the first few seconds of combat you have that as a damage amplifier, right? If I'm right, I'm stupid. My bad. Thanks to the guy that helped me figure it out.

If kayne does 1000 damage (of any kind), he also does 560 bonus magic damage. Its what makes crit shadow assassin so deadly... Kayn item 3031 item 3087 item 3508 item 3046 item 3006 item 3812 is devastating.

Then lane? Kayne top is pretty good. But also junglers can afford it late game. Especially assassins. The core is actually IE/PD, followed by ER. Shiv is late-game for jungle or replaces PD if lane.

I jungle assassins and i cannot stand assassin kayn in the jungle due to the animation twirl on Q and the fact that it can take until mid game to unlock assassin form where as most assassins thrive off of early game map pressure.
