Done with League until the bullshit has been dealt with, this game is unbearable now.

Fuck you Riot, for ruining my favorite game.

I'm sure that this will get TONS of down-votes, but its true.

They're putting in more %HP damage, more true damage, more snowballing, Talon is op as shit.. It's so bad.

At least they made Kata and Leblanc less braindead, that's a step in the right direction.

But honestly, this game has turned to shit. Maybe it's just the preseason, idk, but if this is any indication of season 7? I'm out.

I thought this thread was going to be talking about how shitty mage/ADC mains crying and whining about assassins got assassins gutted because they'd rather cry and whine instead of learn how to play against assassins. Well, I guess this is what you'd call an amusing surprise. If you actually think any assassin except maybe POTENTIALLY Kha'Zix is even slightly not-trash right now, you are drunk.

So, the gripe i have with the patch is their design philosophy was to add more counterplay to 1 shot asssasins, yet they do the exact opposite and make their kits overtuned with multiple gapclosers.

Assassins were perfectly fine, and the ONLY thing these reworks did for the most part (with the exception of Kha'Zix, and possibly Rengar) is completely gut them. If you get caught by an assassin, you deserve to be deleted instantly. Don't like that? Learn to play against them.

??? Not sure what you're talking about. I said learn to play against them if you don't like getting deleted. But sure, stick with your team instead if you'd rather not learn how to play.

It was just my understanding that counterplay to assassins was grouping.

That's the easiest option. It's not anywhere near the only option.

Warding to avoid surprise flanks, building defensive options/GA, CC (for those that have it), or things like QSS/Sterak's*/Zhonya's/Flash/Heal/Barrier/Exhaust/etc are all perfectly available options, as is just being sensible about playing (like not wandering down a lane to farm with no vision, especially when you're like 80% health or below).

*Just my own opinion here, but ADCs/rangeds should not have any access to burst shield items. If it gets to the point the assassin eats the full burst combo, they deserve to die. The counterplay lies in either avoiding the assassin entirely, making oneself an undesirable/difficult target, or stopping them prior to their combo initiation.
