There is too much cc in League.
Title^
Be it random perma-slows you'll get during teamfights, or EVERY NEW CHAMPION getting some form of cc. Its getting to be a little ridiculous. Tenacity needs buffed, or cc needs to be reduced globally.

there is too much burst and damage
are 3 items that can clear all CC. Plus champion abilities and being able to counter attack.
CC is bad, but it's not terrible and it can be cleared.
"can clear all CC" check yourself before you wreak yourself trying to build the last one against WW. the first 2 remove all CC but if the slow is AoE it will reapply automatically
Right... right... it doesn't stop suppression or airborne.
But come on, CC is not that hard to counter. Having a problem with slow? Stop running away then, or admit that you've freaking been outplayed.

It is also not hard to get a perma slow because of three items in the game that apply regular slows.
Which compared to the amount of cc in this game is not enough. Just a tenacity buff would be great for this game IMO
Only really useful against long, high cooldown cc tho. Theyre not going to help a lot against that

There is an easy fix for that and frozen mallet. Just have it have a CD to the same target before it can be reapplied. Simple
F*cking this^ give this person a medal.
I dont think Mallet would need a nerf because Gnar and maybe Yasuo are the only champs that really build it. Rylais like literally changed the mid lane meta with the mage update, making assassins kind of weak and tanky mages pretty broken.
The problem is that knockups can't be reduced by tenacity, and there's crazy amounts of them now.
Making tenacity effect knock ups would actually lead to it being made weaker because a lot of champions rely on knock ups.

Knockups were added specifically to avoid tenacity, and they were supposed to be SPECIAL cases.
But now, everyone and their mother has knockups and displacements, so the importance of making knockups immune to tenacity is no longer relevant, to the point that actual tenacity is fucking worthless.
Then you need to increase tenacity because some knock ups would become useless if they were effected by knock ups.
I thought the general consensus was that champions lacking in CC are cancer...
Cancer to me is champions that are just unfun to play against or are too oppressive.
Im gonna make a list of champions with no in built hard CC.
the list goes on. If you notice something all of them are either stat sticks like
or
or cancer/feast or famine.
Not saying that every champion should have some form of hard CC, but releasing a multitude of CC less champions is going to make the game pretty feast/famine.
i'd rather have feast/famine than have champs get curb-stomped and then still be more useful than me because they have a slow or a stun or a knockup on every other ability tbh. way more interesting that way
CC should be primarily reserved for supports and tanks and given very conservatively to the rest of the roster. this low cooldown might-as-well-be-a-permaslow shit needs to stop too.
also
- delete these for game improvement
i'd rather have feast/famine
You really don't want feast or famine
most of my champions are feast or famine already and I like them that way
you should be rewarded for shutting down
in lane
What I don't want is to shit on some dumb fuck like
or
or
only for them to still be a nuisance because they can just slow me endlessly from range. it's complete bullshit how these guys were designed
or pretty much any DoT or DPS mage as soon as they finish Rylai's being able to kite me to death with minimal effort
No. A champion shouldn't just be deleted from the game because you find them a "nuisance"
if I crush them hard in lane they should not be more useful than me in teamfights by virtue of bullshit endless CC
the commonness of CC in this game is the problem. it's horrible design and only enforces the mobility creep that everyone complains about
it needs to go
Yeah because getting countered means that it should now be a 4v5. if you want that kind of gameplay, go to dota2. League isn't about making someone useless for the rest of the game.
bullshit, there are anti-melee champions that do exactly that, and they don't even need to fed to do it.

will never be caught by a melee without dashes unless someone else interferes.
interestingly enough, we don't have any melee champion who is anti-range to the same degree
How would you even do anti ranged?
And the game doesn't end with laning.
the point I'm trying to make is that hard counters are in League, and League players are okay with them because they aren't melee.
And also that feast/famine is far better and more interesting than "you can always be useful to the team unless you picked melee"
You could do anti-ranged by making an ability that disjoints auto attacks and spells that are done from beyond X minimum range; anything closer still works so melee champions aren't hindered in melee range, but ADCs and mages are at a loss. tbh I think that disjointing autos is a mechanic League should've implemented to begin with; it'd make ADCs so much less cancerous if there were actual answers to it besides bursting them before they can blink.
I really have to disagree with feast or famine. It isn't fun being in the famine aspect.
It's not fun being invalidated by slow spams and stuns either, but yet this is the dominant gameplay in League right now
The problem is Rylais and Mallet is over-used on mages and ADCs respectively They were meant for AP and AD Melees as stick, not yet more kite.
Utility on champion makes them easier to balance than if they only had damage. If there's 2 things you can bring to a fight, you can tone down on one and leave the other as the premier trait while the champion also has the secondary that can be useful but not overbearing. That was the premise with the Ryze ult change.
What MrFawkSunshine said.
Still gonna have it Still gonna deal with it
CC makes plays and makes the game interesting
