probably not the source you want to get your jungle info from. Stonewalls been meh since about season 3. He hasn't kept up that well.
Stopped watching when he suggested AP junglers should get reduced CD on spells with autos on monsters. That would make their farming just stupid fast after their first full clear. Way faster then even AD junglers
They're actually very good ideas.
Far as the AP CD reduction on AA. He states that it'll deal reduced damage on AA's a well. This makes AP's in the jungle more about spell damage and less about auto damage. AP's in general also already have slower clear times as it is. Although this change would be a strong buff. He is suggesting a take away and they are already behind for the most part. You're overestimating the damage of a spell. Most don't do much more than your normal basic attack early game while they also deal less basic attack damage and slower basic attack hits.
Diana's Q does 60 damage at rank 1. Her basic attack does 53 damage at level 1.
Does it make more sense to make something you use every 1.5 seconds stronger or something you use every 10 seconds stronger?
Looking at the rest of the AP junglers
No other AP really jungles that would build this item. Elise/Cho would go tank, Kayle would go Sated.
We're looking at this change making Karma, Brand and Diana stronger. None of them would become OP or even all that strong. But this could bring other AP's into the jungle.

- Shaco - Only thing this really effects is his E. Which only does 50 damage at rank 1. Less than his level 1 basic attack. And he doesn't take this at level 1.
- Brand - A bit iffy to use. But he could become stronger with this. His W actually hits hard for a rank 1. But he's very niche and squishy. I don't think he'd become OP.
- Ekko - Wouldn't change much.
- Fizz - Wouldn't change much.
- Karma - Boarderline viable. This would probably bring her into viability. Changes wouldn't effect much on her. Q's already a decent CD. Even with that her clears are not very amazing despite it doing 80 damage at rank 1.
- Fiddlesticks - Wouldn't really even do anything for him.
- Elise - Probably wouldn't get it. But she needs all she can get.
- Karthus - Wouldn't change much. One ability has a cast time almost as long as it's CD, one ability has no CD and the other is something you shouldn't spam anyway.

stopped reading at brand jungle. not once have I ever seen this be a thing not would it ever be a thing. Again take what stonewall says with a grain of salt. He's probably the least relevant jungle youtuber right now.
He is very niche but it is very doable. Mainly because of his 2s stun and high AoE damage on his W.
I'm not basing this off Stonewall's skill in the jungle. I'm going off his ideas. Even a Bronze can have a good understanding of the jungle and just suck at doing it. I don't watch his videos so I couldn't say if he's up to date myself or argue with you on this. But these ideas are far from bad.
Evelynn is an AP jungler.
She's mix-match. She can go any of the builds. Right now I'd say on-hit/tanky with Sated is the best. I don't think Runeglave is that amazing on her. She doesn't require the mana regen with her passive from it. So it's just a weaker Lichbane. Magus at least gave her some good CDR which she doesn't get to build into easily. Without giving up AP.
I don't think she's been a full AP jungler in a very long time.
The video even said that it is just an idea and, more importantly, a tweakable one by putting a cooldown on how often it can occur. You have to actually have watched or experienced a thing before you complain about it.
While it does need some work, I do agree that having 3 starting items for the 3 roles (AD, AP, and Tanks) would be a lot nicer to have then just
start on all 3.
HOW DARE YOU ASK FOR DIVERISTY?!
Awesome idea worth implementing!
huh
I actually never though about how utterly shitty Machete is for non-fighters until now
his ideas are 10/10, though I doubt that Riot would change it so drastically, especially midway through the season

Yeah, you're definitely right there.
Unfortunately despite all their efforts, riot ultimately lets fighters and bruisers take over the jungle, no one else. They've tried to help, but after seeing stonewall's video, it's pretty clear the problem for tanks and AP jungler starts at level 1 shopping.
I agree with his assessment, but his item suggestions are really indirect solutions to a fairly direct problem. I for one don't look forward to the idea of Ekko surfing through jungle camps, or AP Ez literally machine gunning objectives down, or Maokai becoming an invincible train running through my team after 1 item.
I think if Riot really thinks about what junglers in each category NEED instead of trying to slam a fancy unique effect on each enchant, they'll figure out what it really takes to get mages and tanks into the jungle.
