I ended s6 at b4 after a loosing streak. I went 7 wins and 3 looses after doing my placements yesterday. I was placed s2. Riot applied a patch this morning. I lost my placement today and got b5, 0 lp.

How does this make any sense? How is it fair? It was like my placement matches were irrelevant. Why should I bother trying to grind/play league at all if there's going to be another reset in ~20 days? What if I get to b3 in those 20 days and then get placed in b5 again? Am I getting b5 despite of my placements? Because that's what it fells like.

It is very unfortunate that Riot decided to make their mmr and placement formulas secret, it feels that I am being cheated out of LP. Why don't they share the formulas with us? What's the big deal?

Man, in all these posts I sound like a jerk.

If you finished Bronze 4, And somehow managed to get placed Silver 2 this pre-season , Something was obviously wrong with either the system, or you. There really isn't any excuse to finish in Bronze 4 if you are a Silver - Skilled player. I'm sorry to say. Losing streak or not.

I barely got to Silver 2 86 LP at the end of Season 6, I had my moments where I was borderline between Bronze 1 and Silver 5, but I never managed to fall back down to Bronze, and I started the season as Bronze 3.

Truthfully, if you deserve to be Silver, You'll have few issues getting there. That's just the honest truth.
