Part of Eve's problem is that she fits the Juggernaut MO to a T

No instant mobility, solid sustained damage, brings only damage to the table aside from an AoE slow on a massive cooldown, has a powerful shield that rewards her for jumping on large groups of enemies.

And to be fair, she's always been like this. It was even more apparent back before her massive nerf/remake. With her level 3 Ult she got a 650 HP heal every time she scored a takedown in addition to packing some potent resist shred.

Riot really needs to decide once and for all what Eve is supposed to be.

Is she an Assassin?

Then for the love of God give her back the magic damage on her E at the very least so she can itemize penetration properly and make her Ult nuke less anemic. Drop the Ult shield silliness and amp her damage so she can blow things up like an Assassin is supposed to.

Is she a Juggernaut?

Then drop the damage aspect of her Ult and bring back the resist shred/reset mechanic. Would probably require fiddling with the multiple champs hit mechanic, but whatever. If she's doing the Juggernaut thing she needs the consistency on her only source of defense.

Too much power added by the above? Make her treat green wards as champions for the purpose of being revealed, but bring back Hate Spike's ability to target/damage units Eve can't see so she knows that there's something nearby to Sweep and remove. The ability to know that she's at least nearby with something other than Pinks would open up a HUGE amount of kit power to spread around.

She definitely doesn't fit the MO of a juggernaut. Actually the way she plays, you could almost describe her as an AP Fighter, but she's more on the sneaky-sneaky side and DOES have good burst when itemized properly, so that throws her more or less into the assassin camp.

Fighters typically have some form of point and click in combat mobility, though (see: Jax, Irelia, Panth, ect). Eve's only way of getting close is running at you. Quickly, yes. But still just running at you. Riot has gone as far as saying that mobility of that sort straight up precludes a champion from being a Juggernaut.

Eve's about as mobile as Garen is, when you get right down to it. The only (big) difference is that she can sneak closer before getting noticed.

And no.

No she does not have good AP burst. Annie has good AP burst. Eve's burst potential is decent, but nothing to really write home about.

I respectfully disagree when you say Eve does not have good burst. Then again, it could be argued high consistent damage with moderate burst describes her better. Comparing her to Annie is just unfair though, because HER burst is uncommonly high. All things considered, though, I do prefer AD assassin Eve. E+crits is a nasty up front combo that will shred any squishy.

I still play her as an assassin with full crits tho... and I don't even buy boots when I play her 'cause I just use the TF rage passive and W stacks to stick to people and crit them to death...

She is an assasin. Runeglaive and nashors give her some serious burst potential. Atm she is okay. She has the passive any assasin would give up 3 spells for. And her damage is VERY good with the right items.

I'm sorry, but when I think juggernaut, I don't think a lithe, blue-skinned chick with magenta hair.
