Nautilus Rework Concept

I like nautilus in every lane, even in lanes he's not supposed to do well in. Nautilus to me is most fun in the jungle, but I have a hard time when the enemy jungle has even a single speed buff (mostly champs like shyvanna , udyr and master yi) I land my Dredge line, I auto stun proc, and I slow; and then they just walk away or advance and destroy me (usually early and late game). I know I'm only silver but I believe any summoners voice can be heard so here is my revision of Nautilus.

  1. Passive is great, leave it or :

Nautilus's autos stun enemy, every auto while the stun is on cooldown refreshes nautilus's shield by .5. This upgrades to one second at level 11 and 1.5 seconds at level 16.

  1. problem: Hitbox on Q Dredge is still very iffy for me, mostly for terrain tho. Ive had many times when I go to escape with my hook, standing in place for a full second just to see my dredge land on the ground and not latch with terrain.

solution: Have Nauts Q Go on a .5 second cooldown when hitting terrain. have it go to 1 second when it hits nothing.

  1. shield Is great as it is, but with the current passive ive suggested I'd have to remove the Hydra effect It has and give it more of a AOE DOT that's a little weaker

  2. Ult, to me is slow, weak, and glitchy. For example, I go in to ult the low shyvanna and she ults right over mine. My ult then slows down for no reason and takes 9 seconds to catch up with her.

Solution, Make it speed up as it gets closer in distance. Make its speed double if the selected enemy uses a speed buff or Gap closer. Nautilus

you're kidding right? 0,5 seconds cd when hitting terrain and 1 second when it hits nothing? thats practically uncatchable. remember that 0,5 secs cd is like a cassiopeia spamming her e into you. the cd is alright as it is, since it gets halved if you hit terrain. buy some cdr and its actually fine to escape

I don't think the cooldown is too low because naut takes a second to cast his dredge, and then has to line up another wall to throw another. His hook isn't like thresh's where it can pass though walls, hook a jungle creep and then flies to safety. His Q terrain is meant primarily for advancing and retreating and any enemies that have a speed buff will catch you in no time flat.

alright ill admit it does seem sort of strong at least early game. but hes still slow and has minimalistic escape compared to anyone that has a gap closer such as a jump or a moderate speed buff like hecarim.

I've came back, 0.5 seconds is a fair cooldown, since the cast time for his q is around 2 seconds total. It's a debuff since he is hitting terain. It's a junglers stance that he should have some mobility.
