Someone please explain to me why I am not winning games

Ahri Body Pillow··3 votes·2,363 views

I simply am not grasping it. This is not a "im stuck in x rank cuz my team bad" post or "i deserve chalenjour" post but I just do not fucking understand. Based on the LoL stats tool, literally every single one of my stats for Ekko is above average for my rank. So often do I have the highest damage to champions/damage to turrets/highest kills/most gold but I just. Can't. Win. Please for the love of God someone give me some advice.

DISCLAIMER: I UNDERSTAND MY PLAY IS NOT PERFECT. THIS IS A FACT. I ACCEPT THIS. HOWEVER, THERE SEEMS TO BE A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN MY STATISTICS AS EKKO AND MY ABILITY TO ACTUALLY WIN MY GAMES AND I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY,

Your comment will get downvoted because you're not offering him a possible way of improvement, you're just offering him a scapegoat, a bad one at that.

Lol ranked is based on 3 things imo your skill, your team skill vs enemy skill generally if you get the unlucky team you lose which is majority of the time or the enemy team also sucks it’s gonna be a clown fiesta. I’d say luck is the bigger factor to if you will climb or decline you can be best player but it won’t matter if your team is bad.

Luck may get you up or down one (or maybe two) divisions, but that's it. If you're better than your current mmr, you climb, that's just how it works.

It's probably the water mineral count. Try the smart water. It boosts your winrate by 5-10 percent. Depending on your prior water of course.

From the way you make it sound, your problem is you don't know how to close out games.

The large majority of players while they might get fed, they just don’t know how to close out games, or how to use there advantage they get from lane phase.

Sometimes yes it’s your team, but overall, playing again and again with a single champion, didn’t quite look at your history, if you are playing other champions that can really turn things in another direction, even if you play well with one champion.

It took me a while to get out of gold, but I did it by just playing my best champion, over, and over, and over again, and I just climbed to platinum surprisingly easily, it felt like just, “oh, okay.” And I was able to learn more about the game on the one champion, and that flat out improved my play with everyone else.

You have 60% win rate on Ekko over your last 20 Ekko games, there is nothing to explain.

That includes nexus blitz games

No, I filtered Ekko and ranked SoloQ only.

Some causes may be: 1 you tend to score value-less damage on opponents which ramps up you metrics without increasing your win. 2 you tend to score value-less kills on opponents which ramp up your metrics without increasing your win. 3 you put a lot of wards in useless locations that don't spot anything which ramp up your metrics without increasing your win. 4 You CS when you need to be fighting, which which ramp up your metrics without increasing your win. 5 you don't commit and die when you should, which ramp up your metrics without increasing your win. 6 you participate minimally and cowardly in skirmishes which nets you useless assists, which ramp up your metrics without increasing your win (because your allies die and you are not able to capitalize on your damage due to their deaths). 7 you're talking completely BS and what Thimes is saying is the correct situation.

The reason you aren't winning game is because only 1 thing in this game really matters right now... damage. In earlier seasons you could win games by simply ward placements, having good map awareness, focusing on objectives, good macro play etc.

Right now, none of those things matter as much as being able to outdamage the enemy team. To put it bluntly, if you and your team do not deal more damage than the enemy team, chances are you are going to lose that game. This is frustrating because it does not matter if you do the basics well, more often than not one of your teammates (or yourself) would not be able to keep up with their counterpart.

If you are good enough to hard carry your teammates by dealing just as much damage then you can probably climb. That, however, isn't a playstyle some people enjoy.

I had similar questions and i talked to some of my friends who are much higher ranked (diamond/master) and they reviewed some of my games. You gotta shot call probably. Make sure you translate your leads into barons/dragons/heralds. If you dominate your lane use the space.

I've had several games in recent history where I decisively won my lane and dominated mid game. However, I ended up losing to not making Baron calls fast enough. Sometimes being even 15 seconds too slow on a call will decide the game.

The good news is if what you say about your stats are correct then you have your micro level game play down.
