I'm sick of playing on a top-notch PC, yet still having a glitchy and laggy client. I'm sick of trying to lock in a champ only to have the lock in option unavailable. This shit is getting absolutely ridiculous. Not only do you have most of the player base complaining about your "new" client, but you also have most of the player base complaining about everything that has to do with the current client. How the FUCK can you rationalize keeping it the way it is right now? How the FUCK can you rationalize the current state the client is in? Please, enlighten me, because I can't see the truth in the matter. You have millions of concurrent players a month, yet you let issues like this pass you by. It's deplorable. Fix your shit, so that everybody can enjoy the game more.

Let's not forget that the remake system does not work as intended. Despite Riot ignoring the issues surrounding a years-old established safety net.

This is one of the reasons as to why I prefer the Dota 2 client, despite me having no interest in that game whatsoever. I played a couple matches in the past and was quite surprised with how well their client performed. It's packed with animations, flashy stuff, sugar, spice and everything nice, and yet it ran smoothly on my old laptop (which wasn't that great in terms of specs).

With League's client, however, I often find myself completely baffled as to why certain aspects are beyond laggy and rough. I have a pretty strong computer right now and the client still isn't running smoothly in some areas, especially when it comes to opening and closing the chat.

A few things that are annoying:

When I want to scroll down through my friends list, I have to click on one of them to get the client to realize I want to affect that window with my scroller, but that opens a thread with them which I then have to close. Every time.

It was so difficult to find where the rune pages were I had to google it. Why is it that hard.

TFT has its own tab at the top when it should be a tab in my profile like everything else. I kept trying to go through that to play it, only realizing later that it was just another part of the play menu.

The loot.... is stupid. I'm not sure what the point of it is but it's baffling, the screen is so busy and the process so complicated that I just decraft everything because I don't want to deal with it and I have most of the champions anyway. I can't imagine what a degenerate mess the whole thing must seem like to new players.

The client lags like a mf. I end up clicking the wrong things, wondering if my ban went through (it sometimes doesn't), or I didn't join a queue when I thought I had because it didn't end up registering the click as I hadn't hovered over the button long enough and as a result the already long wait time is basically doubled. My specs are fine, this sort of thing doesn't happen in much more taxing games (please don't make league more taxing, it's great that anyone with a calculator can jump in).

Riot officials stopped answering topics like this - but when they did - they blamed it on the weekly patches (since they patch the game so often - they don't seem to have enough time to test everything properly - so they keep fixing and breaking stuff).

IMO - they should really stop this patching madness. Except for hot-fixes (fixing some urgent issue with the game), might really help if they patch the game only once every couple of months (if not more) and test that patch properly before release. LoL already has enough heroes. And same goes for skins (we don't need new skins every freaking month - if not multiple times that month). Might also help - if they strip away all the marketing stuff - and move it on their main site. Since the current client is both poorly optimized and filled with bloatware - so it's no surprise it runs as it does.

Reminds me of the times i bought a new laptop - with all the proprietary bloatware installed by default. Used to glitch and lag on every corner. Uninstalling all that crap - felt like an upgrade (the system was finally running smoothly and performing as intended - for its given specifications).

Riot has proven over and over again that they don't care about the player base, majority of people beg for true URF and they refuse to give it, they give us ARURF with their reason being "we want more diversity of champions in URF" so then tell me why i still see the same few champions every single game, Nemesis was a fucking hit, and yet the didn't release again ever, we loved rotating game mode yet the quit doing it for only god knows why, EVERYONE prefers the original client, yet they continue to try and shove this new shitty one down our throats. They don't care about what the players want or enjoy what so ever. They only do what they believe will make them the most money. I mean how fucking hard would it be to make the limited game modes like Poro King, One For All, and that shitty ass ARURF in customs? that would make them 1000 times more enjoyable! but alas if the people want it, don't give it to them, unless of course its a skin that costs 20 bucks, oh and don't forget to buff the champ the patch they release the skin so people will actually play the champ and get the skin! YAYYYY more MONEY.

Riot second guesses themselves if 90% of the community isn't happy w/ them. Right now, everyone is pissed and that's what makes riot feel warm and fuzzy inside. We know from the lack of listening to feedback in the past, they cater to the few..

What I hate the most is the runes in champ select. Not only the client is shit but theres not enough time espe islly if ure last pick or /and trying sth new. U need to go look for the build and then go through the ruens with the slow shitty client and need to save around the 5 last seconds or you'll get the default glacial

Afaik the Play button isn't even a simple GIF or some other animation. I've been told they play an actual movie on the play button to animate it. xD
