Jax tips?

How do you build Jax? Do you go for tank or damage or a balance? What items and in what order do you recommend? Is he primarily about damage and split push/dueling potential? Or is he more of a team tank fighter?

What's the difference between the Tri Force into BORK and the Tri Force into Hextech Blade + Rageblade difference?

Also, how do you combo with him?

Is he strong in the current meta?

He's always strong and for this stuff you should look at probuilds, champion.gg, etc.

For comboing on him know that your empowered auto attack resets your aa timer. So use it right after you use another aa.

You can also start up your stun/aa dodge then leap to an enemy before stunning them.

Pretty much every Jax I see builds gunblade. You can build 1-2 more dmg items then go tank. If you are really interested in builds go google "Jax builds" and check out what comes up. Just make sure that the posted build is mostly upvotes and has at least 20 or so votes on it.

Search the internet for builds, and look up a few videos on youtube if you want. Please keep in mind though that it is important to think about your game and adapt the "good builds" to what is good for your situation.

For combos, I can tell you that using Q and then W+auto does more damage than the W empowered Q and then autoing. Usually, you want to start your E, Q onto them, W empowered auto, and then cast your E again to stun them faster (<-- mained him for a while long ago and never knew this at the time).

Other than that, he's pretty straight forward. He can split push if your team needs it, or be an initiator, or catch people out, or just protect that adc.

Triforce, gunblade, and rageblade (even after nerf) are 3 of his cores imo. After them build for the situation of the enemy team.

For jung I go bloodrazor, tri, Hextech gun blade, Deadmans, spirit Visage, Mercs or swifty. Shoes depend. For top if fed go bork rage, if not tri and Hextech. Also try to hit his Minion and get stacks/procs more dmg on your E then leap to stun and trade/kill. Combo e then A depending on distance then just auto the sucker. But typically build damage then go full tank. I recommend spirit Visage due to healing increase as a must.
