Why can't multiple people play the same champion in bot games?

Potential upsides:

  • Beginners getting to stick with a comfort pick until they're ready to explore further
  • Literally everyone gets to play the sexy new champion that came out and get a feel for their kit without having to worry about dodges
  • Friends can practice their opaf One For All teamcomps between rotations

The only potential downside that I could see from this is that newer players might not understand that you need a balanced team composition in order to win games (i.e. not all AD or all AP). Other than that, I don't think it would be too big of a deal to allow the same champs in bot games.

I would only consider that a potential downside if newer players were given any understanding of that from the current system.

Seeing as they aren't, I don't think it's a realistic problem.

However, I could see the argument being made that it could be misleading, as any other mode only allows 1 champ per team (or per game in ranked), in which case I could see a disclaimer coming into play, or perhaps limiting this option to beginner bots only.
