Maybe runes and masteries should give ap/ad per level instead of a flat bonus lvl 1

It feels like its so easy to get damage stats early in the game. Think this might be contributing to shorter games and huge snowballs. Maybe make the ap/ad per level instead? This might slow down the game, or at least weaken the early game snowballers that are dominating the meta

How about no stats? The runes are the interesting part. The stats are just extra damage that should be trimmed from the game entirely imo.

The stats let you customize your champs a bit. You could go HP for meatier gameplay, or AD/AP for more damage.

Mb rito should fuck off and let people choose what they want instead of shoving all that useless crap up their throats?

This would actually only increase the snowball.

some champions use the extra lvl 1 stats better than other champions. Draven comes to mind. by making the stats delayed till later in the game you prevent this from happening

Why do you think games are so snowbally now?

Because all the runes scale with level.

If Draven started snowballing with your proposed change he would end up having higher stats than his opponents when it's all said and done and it would make the problem even worse.

You said it yourself, IF he snowballs.

Draven, being one of the biggest lane bullies there is, is heavily favored by early bonus stats. Lowering the stats early, or removing them entirely, means Draven players need to apply a bit more effort to their snowballing attempts than just plain out-damaging whoever they're fighting.

Now IF he snowballs there is no stopping him.

Amazing change.

edit - wait a minute, completely removing the stats is a completely different thing. You can't compare the two lmfao

And flat stats from the getgo doesn't?

Madsin251 votes

Either way he is getting stats.

If he uses stats better than others this change would literally mean nothing.

If stats completely go away that's something different entirely, you want the shit to scale with level you are asking for snowball.

Or remove those stats altogether
