Skill no longer matters in league of legends.

Just played a game in silver. I'm a plat 3 Morgana. I was supporting a twitch who had an 18% win rate. We got him 4 kills in lane and he was massively ahead.

The enemy team had a pantheon jungle. I tell twitch to not over extend and stay back. He refuses. He repeatedly engages against the enemy team. He repeatedly dies to pantheon ulting. Literally 5 times he fell for the same trap. We explained it to him. He didn't listen.

Because I played so well and did my job so perfectly this kid gave the enemy adc all kinds of shut down gold. We ended up losing the game.

One bad player decides the game. It doesn't matter how incredible I am. It doesn't matter how well I do my job as a support. If I have the biggest idiot in the game on my team I will 100% Lose.

Why is ranked even enabled? Shut down the streams. Shut down the ladders. There's no point. There is literally no point. It is all about which team coinflips the most boosted person. 100%.

The skill of one person was never consistently the determining factor in League. Why are you insinuating there was a time where it was?

Support has the least agency on the whole game. Not to say they have none, but in order of agency.

Jungle, ADC, Mid, Top Support

If you pick support, don't expect to win even if you play an S game.

A bad support, maybe. A good support wins lane, secures vision around objectives and after that he will win another lane. Try playing with a bad support vs a good one, you will be able to tell they have a ton of impact. Most of that isn't exactly obvious though, because it happens out of our sight or gets "expected".

I did all of those things and still lost a game /shrug. It literally doesn't matter sometimes. Sometimes your teammates don't want to win. Sometimes your trinity force rush Fiora is doing raptor camps while everyone else is doing baron. Sometimes your teammates are actually boosted and choose to lose. Sometimes.

Skill matters a lot. Your ADC that match was so unskilled that it cost you the game.

You are 20% of your team. It's unreasonable to expect to win 100% of your games even when you're a lot more skilled and experienced than those around you.

you tried going full ap? in lower elos that can work or if your somewhat adc main you could make AD morgana work at lower elos. since you one trick her and all.

Let's assume that you are better than the average player in your elo. That means you have 4 potentiel monkeys on your team, while the enemy team has 5 potentiel monkeys. Matchmaking is completely random. This means you have a higher chance of winning, due to having less monkeys on your team on than the enemy team, on average.

I know it sucks tho. Duoing will make it a lot easier, especially if you find an adc player.
