Un-Gimping Tryndamere

Lets look at the core aspects of Tryndamere

-Manaless -Melee AD carry -High innate damage -Punishes Cowards -Heals -Spin -Short "Unkillable"

Now Passive Currently, this thing is very much a problem. He will either get very lucky and kill you level 2, or he wont get shit out of it, and he will feed. Lets remove the randomness from this thing, to remove the "luck" factor a bit, adding opportunity to play around it for both the player and the opponent.

Tryndamere gains fury upon dealing or receiving damage. Each point of Fury grants him 0.1/0.15/0.2/0.25, up to 10/15/20/25 AD (at levels 1, 6, 11, 16). This bonus is increased by 0.5% per 1% of tryndameres missing health. If Tryndamere is at 100 Fury, every third basic attack will critically strike. Whilst out of combat, Tryndamere loses 5 fury per second.

Q This thing doesn't really fit its name. "Bloodlust" would imply that this is what makes him great in combat. In reality, once you cast this you stop fighting because you lost your Fury. I like the sustain, but on the burly fighter, this should be tied to something more

Passive: Tryndamere heals for 4/8/12/16/20 (+0.2 AP) upon killing a unit. This is doubled vs champions, large minions, and large monsters.

Active: Tryndamere removes all slows affecting him, and gains 6/12/18/24/30% lifesteal for 5 seconds. The duration of this effect is reset if tryndamere scores a kill or assist. At the end of the duration, Tryndamere consumes all available Fury, healing for 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 per point consumed (+1.0AP) (Let ap tryndamere live!!!)

W This one is fine already. No need for changes, really.

E This too. Its a good skill.

R HERE is the main thing Gimping him. Lets add some complexity to the spell

Tryndamere fills his Fury bar, and for 2 seconds, Tryndamere's health may not be reduced below 1. After this, for 3 seconds, his health may be put at a Negative Value. If tryndamere has negative health, he deals 50% his bonus AD (and 30% ap huehuehue) as bonus magic damage on hit (can crit), and all healing effects are doubled on Tryndamere. If tryndamere has negative health when the spell ends, he will "die", but passes on his Rage to his team, increasing the AD of all nearby allies by 20/25/30% his own bonus AD.

He can still cheat the likes of Karthus, Garen, and Caitlyn, but he can no longer expect to live through EVERYTHING. However, if he goes in expecting death, he will deal assloads of extra damage in the seconds before death, and make it very easy for his team to mop up with the steroid it grants.

Tryndamere is difficult to un-gimp without destroying his character. Please reply with other ideas on him.

The main thing really gimping him is how it feels to play against him. Giving extra damage while at negative health might feel good for the tryndamere but having a champion with a slow cleanse, insane damage, and that is also incapable of dying for 5 seconds does not feel "fair". Now I am not a tryndamere player myself but I would suggest going in the opposite direction; R Tryndamere gainst full fury bar and for 5 seconds he cannot die. He can however go into negative health and his ad and movement speed will be decreased depending on how much negative health he has compared to his max health. Should tryndamere end his ult in negative health he dies.

Now this is just a suggestion and is no doubt not what a tryndamere player wants.
