Being forced to potentially ban someones pick or back-up pick seems like a bad deal.

The only reason anyone wouldn't ban a champion is because they're a tryhard edgelord trying to get people to think they're badass because "I don't need to ban, I can play vs anyone."
Ok cool, asshat... maybe ban someone for someone else then? Ask people what they want banned?
You're literally taking a strategic advantage and throwing it on the ground so you can seem like a hard ass, when really it just makes you a dumb ass.
If you think one ban changes your win rate substantially you might want to consult the wise words of Faker: git gud.
I can understand riots reasoning for putting it in since some people might not want to ban anyone.
What I can't understand is people actually using that option. Why wouldn't you ban a single one of your counters? or ban a champ you don't like? or just ban a champ and take the chance that the enemy mains that champ and you just fucked them up?
There is pretty much no sane reason why someone would use the option to not ban any champion.
Faker don't ban any champ so he can train against even the hardest match-up.
i mean, Ive had a ranked game where there were only 3 bans because on my team we decided to to not ban anyone and the other team two people didnt ban. was a fucking epic game of trolling until we did a /ff race. we won the /ff race by just a second because we got the lose screen and then the camera went to the enemy nexus blowing up.
