Why don't Morde ult work like Camilles?

I'm just curious and it seems odd that Camilles and Mordekaiser ultimates work different with qss? Like, you can't qss Camilles ult because it isn't a cc. So why can you qss Mordekaisers whole ultimate by just a qss? It seems weird and unintended. Or just make it so that camille ult also can be cleansed when she ults, just for consistency? It would make sense that you could qss his 0,5 channel (even tho you can't do that with Camille either), but since his ult isn't a cc just like Camilles ult or Jarvans ult, then this interaction with qss seems wrong to me and needs to be changed somehow. Anyone have an answer why his ult behave this way?

No clue why it works this way. I'd be totally fine with cleanses breaking the cast, that takes skill and awareness. But to be able to leave Morde's death realm at will with one item or eating a freakin' orange seems unfair to Morde.

Because Morde's ultimate is a debuff.

For the same duration Mordekaiser also reduces the target's current attack damage, ability power, total attack speed, maximum health, armor, magic resist, and size by 10%, in addition to gaining them for himself.

Camille's ultimate creates impassible terrain, but does not debuff the target.
