Never again a Yasuo in my ranked game!
I'm always gonna ban it from now on, it's too stressful to play against good yasuo players. Not even Leblanc or Nasus is that bad... lol

I don't play against yasuo as a midlaner from 3 months. Lol has never been more relaxing.
Same, the game has improved a lot for me
The issue is the yasuo on your team is ALWAYS an armless arangatang while your team can’t help but not feed his ass.
It’s better to just ban him, because he’s never good to see.
"arangatang"

here we go ^^ it's not a common word

And if he aint solo carrying on the enemy team hes running into 1v5s and wondering where his team is on yours
Ah yes the Yasuo paradox.

Ah yes the Yasuo paradox.
If it wasn’t so insanely true he wouldn’t have this insane a ban rate.
Explain

Every yasuo in your team is gaurenteed to feed out his ass. I’m talking 0/12 at 12
Yasuo on the enemy team is always some challenger god, who just started a new smurf account.
Every yasuo in your team is gaurenteed to feed out his ass. Yasuo on the enemy team is always some challenger god
No that's just the boards dogma. Hence why I said it's a paradox.

If only it wasn’t so true lol. In like the last year I’ve had one maybe 2 good yasuos on my team, and any time I’m not leaning against the yasuo on the enemy team he just immedietly gets fed out his ass.
Just think about that though. That's literally impossible, hence the paradox part. If the allied Yasuo is always feeding and the enemy Yasuo is always a challenger god, that means he's both at the same time.
¤ If we assume every allied Yasuo feeds, that means that the enemy Yasuo should feed too since from the opponents' view the enemy Yasuo is their allied Yasuo. That means that every Yasuo feeds.
¤ If we assume every enemy Yasuo is a challenger god, that means that the allied Yasuo on your team is a challenger god to the enemy team since from their view your allied Yasuo is the enemy Yasuo. That means that every Yasuo is a challenger god.
¤ If we assume both is true as you suggest, that means he's both feeding and is a challenger god at the same time.
Your hypothesis only works if you assume the world revolves around you and the enemy team is a bunch of bots. Hence why the "allied Yasuo" thing is just a joke that some people take way too seriously because they don't understand basic logic.

Idon't I get that many bad yasuo on my team. I've had many good once too. For me it's mostly that when the enemy yasuo is good, it's really hard to shut him down even if you are carrying your team or if you make one mistake the game can be over.

Let me help you with that stick.
I know that's the perception, but:
The truth is the Yasuo on the other team was supported by his jungle/team who got him a level advantage and possibly helped set up knockups.
The Yasuo on your team has a team around him who chose no knockup champs, and has decided, "Yasuo can do it alone. I don't need to help him."
That's a more accurate depiction.
I had a Level 2 Vi gank me vs a top Yasuo 3 days ago. Wasn't fun. They didn't kill me, but it set Yasuo up for Level 3 vs a Level 1 who had to recall. It got so bad that at about 11 minutes, Yasuo Q'd me coming back to lane from my own team's Gromp. There was no counterplay, and he was obviously Plat/low diamond put down in gold for placements. His Q timings were near perfect. He waited explicitly for me to try to skill minions, to deter a turret loss, and as soon as my character stopped moving to initiate a skill, He would quickly E forward and Q into my skill. Every. Single. Time. He wanted to guarantee I couldn't run from his Q's.
Alone.... he would have been level 1 vs me level 1. And I would have outscaled him. But ...... he had that level 2 Vi,
Yea, I banned him for 20-30 games. Then I forget one game, Yasuo gets picked and solo carry their team 14/0 and I can't do anything else but to watch. I've been thining before of permabanning him, but then after some time I think that maybe it will be fine to just ban some other op champion like yi or le blanc. Usually I get another solo carry yasuo. So yea, I probably need to do that for my mental health...
Some of these champs have that wonderful paradox going on.
Just today i had a Yasou go 1,7,1 into a Zed, that Zed ended up carrying hard as hell.
Then i get a Zed on my team later on and he gets killed by a Tryndamere midlane by 1:50, starting to feed his arse off. .
Its a real wonder this stuff x)
But at least i got to watch a super fed Fiora fail to carry because the rest of her team had been decimated so its something.
I'd love to ban him but Vayne is currently the champion that I always ban without exception because of the massive unwarranted buff she got that made her a god at all stages of the game.
The moment the Yasuo shitposts stop is when you start climbing higher than low gold.
Im playing in gold right now and just todai had one go 1,7,1 into a damn Zed.
And of course yesterdayi also had a sylas jungle be level 4 by the time enemy jarvan was lvl 6.
Some of these sterotypes exist for a reason, like how you might just assume you´ve lost the game if you get a riven with less than 40 games on your team, because new Riven´s have 33% winrate.
he has a 20% pick rate even in diamond and above with a higher ban rate
Yeah and majority of those statistics are from d4.
Yasuo has always been this way unfortunately. The game's outcome is pretty much decided by whether or not the Yasuo player has a working brain.
As someone who bans fizz almost every game since 2 seasons ago, let me tell you, it's a life-changing decision.
If I see an enemy Yasuo playing at Top as a split pusher or Bot lane, declaring "Yasuo is an adc". ME CAMP THE SHIT OUT OF THEM UNTIL THEY AFK OR FF AT 15.
The worst feeling is when he is in your team tho.
You know instead of banning them you should play against them more to learn how to outplay them and get better at the game..
Lol you haven't seen my Nidalee matches in norms.

Nidalee is good into yasuo?
Nidalee is good into yasuo?
She can be, but my point was not that. I meant that a good Nidalee player can be scary. They know how to land those heavy dmg spears.
Master Malzahar. Punish Yasuo for picking Yasuo.

Malzahar is that good of a counter? Well, I don't play midlane, but it's a good advice

You can play Malzahar top as well if you want. But yeah... I utterly crush Yasuo. Never ban him. Basically, you focus on very early game getting your CS, getting an early back, TP back, and keep to where you have mana to punish him. His windwall is useless against you except for your autos (which Malzahar almost never uses except early to CS or occasional poke early). The bugs, he can kill pretty fast but if he wants to CS there is a good chance of the E spreading to him and the bugs tearing him apart. You can reset the E with a Q, especially if he is predictable and then he cannot dash anymore so you can punish him more and the bugs will tear him up more. After he is below half life (unless he buys Hexdrinker or brings Nullifying Orb) and you get level 6, it is a very easy kill if you have farmed well. And almost all Yasuo players are very cocky and very easy to punish. Even if they wise-up and buy QSS, this just puts them behind in gold. Paying the Malzahar tax is expensive. Especially if they itemize against you with Hexdrinker and also bring Nullifying Orb (had this happen to me once). I just focused on punshing their CS, backing up when my passive is down, and forcing him to take damage through the E and Bugs. By then you have a huge advantage and he is functionally useless if you keep him under turret. And with the new plate system, each back can be severely punished. Especially if he brings ignite instead of TP (like 99% do).

Yea, I used to pick old akali top for counter. The problem is if I'm top and their yasuo is mid most of the time. If im lucky, my midlaner is playing safe, but if they get an advantage the rest of the game is a pain. And even if they pick top, malzahar isn't always that good for the rest of your team comp. But i'll remember the advice :)

Yeah, it can be annoying if you are not laning against him of course... Or if your team comp is way off of that. But it is very fun to punish Yasuo players for picking him by just crushing their soul over and over again. And in every team fight making sure you Ulti him so he can spam in AllChat "So skilled! Press R to win!" :D :D :D :D
Hey, same here after two seasons of seeing in seasom summary: Most killed: Yasuo Most died to: Yasuo
without any change in sight I have to permaban him from now on. Nothings more boring than playing against the same shit overr and over again!

Yea, I've also had most killed and most deaths by yasuo
I don't ban him But he was banned in most of my games yet somehow managed to be most killed and most died to
Katana man bad.
I'm gonna be real, I love playing against Yasuo. He honestly feels more fair than 90% of the champions in League. But I understand I'm in the minority with that opinion.
I don't think it would be nearly as bad if people knew what "cc" means, the number of comps I play in that have zero reliable ranged CC, my typical Lux pick almost becomes mandatory (and of course playing Lux a lot means 100% Yasuo banrate, not going to handicap myself trying to trade with a champion that has a built in shield AND a way to block my primary engage and farming tools).
