That would only make sense if you were playing the same champion in the same role. Which, if you're in the same game, is impossible last I checked.
Remember, the system is measuring you against all other people playing that champion, not compared to the other people in the game.
^^ For example, if you're playing kat, the expectation of getting very big stats are high. So if you have incredible stats on her, you may only get an A. However, if you are playing urgot, then you are much more likely to get an S
And what about Lucian? He was playing Annie, I was playing Luci.
How do players still not understand that the grading is based on your champion in that role (and extends beyond kda, but that's not an issue here). It truly baffles me how this system has been out for so long and yet players still don't understand how it works [zombie-brand-facepalm]
Compared to other stats for that lane, champ, roll, etc. Not just how well you do in the game.
