Quick Thoughts on All Champions (Diana-Fizz)

Disclaimer: These are my opinions so I encourage you to discuss yours back to me regardless of if they support me or do not. As long as it adds to the conversation I would appreciate it. Also I don't play all the champions a ton and this will come from a perspective of playing as with and against these champions. I do have some very strong opinions towards certain game mechanics that may be apart of my opnion that are controversial at the very least.

Diana - I have alot to discuss with her, but I will keep it short. Feel free to ask me about my ideas in the comments. First she needs a VGU. It could be small all the way up to a large one. Keep her Passive, Q, and E. Also add some AP fighter items. Riot said they are looking into it but come on AP fighters are either tanks or assassins because they don't have the proper items. So they are balanced horribly.

Dr. Mundo - Absolutly miserable design. He is beyond dated and needs a rework. He can not be both a tank and a "juggernaut" even though he is too mobile to be a juggernaut. He really doesn't have a healthy identity besides being a large purple idiot. So either run on that or practically make a new champion.

Draven - Don't like him much, but I really don't see much wrong with him besides a very unhealthy passive. I very much believe it needs to change. I don't know what into, but probably don't revert it. If anybody has an idea for the change let me know.

Ekko - Personally love the champion. Just keep him for the most part the same. Maybe force him to buy mana or reduce his wave clear because after half an item it is just too simple.

Elise - Very much think she is a very well designed Jungler. I don't really see to many issues in her game health. Once the AP fighter items are looked into maybe she will have a better build path to keep her more relevant later into the game.

Evelynn - Not a super big fan of the rework, but I don't think she is beyond cancerous now. She snowballs pretty hard, but the only think I don't like is the amount of health her passive regens. I think that is a little strong and could maybe be toned down. I know she is a mix bag opinions sense her rework, but I think it is better than before. Let me know if you think otherwise.

Ezreal - Is having work done so not really useful to discuss him.

Fiddlesticks - Full rework. Keep ult and change everything else. That is pretty much it. He is severely dated and needs to be redesigned.

Fiora - I believe she needs a small update. I personally don't agree with percent health true damage that has any scaling. I don't think that is healthy game design. I would really like to see her get a minor update that changes that. Besides that I like the overall kit design.

Fizz - Haven't really played him of encountered him much since the assassin update except for when he was broken. I can't really talk about him much. One thing I can say is that ever since the ultimate hitbox nerf he doesn't feel like aids to face

The shit thing about Diana, is that I like her entire kit, maybe exchange her E and Ult, then lower the damage of the Dash and strengthen the vacuum.

She just needs some actual AP bruiser items to build into and her kit would be fine. I do love her W though.

Yeah that is why I gave it a range on the amount of change she needs. Once the items are introduced which who knows when that will be she will be so much better off.

Personally, I think they'll have to lower her AP scalings a bit so she isn't used as a Assassin as often.

Yup agreed I did a longer post on AP Fogjter itemization and a Diana rebalancing based off of those, but it got mixed responses. At least the Diana rebalance, but many people thought I had some good ideas on items.

And a list of retort/comments on your thoughts;

Diana, and subsequently ekko, have the problem of having good ratios on damage while having good base values on their defensive abilities; letting them play like assassins for only a couple items or be formidable front-liners with a few items, often both.

Dr Mundo, hardly a tank since he lacks any hard crowd control, but I agree he's a decent juggernaut however only because the others have been nerfed or had their counters buffed; only letting him run wild in the hands of those who remember what he's capable of, and when his opponents are oblivious how to handle him.

Draven, yeah snowballing has always been a problem with marksmen and assassins; but his original passive was more disruptive, having grievous wounds on auto-attacks for free. Since he's an executioner, I think his passive should be something like doing more damage the closer he is to enemies, something like 10~15%, but halve the bonus damage of his juggling Q.

Ekko, one of the first red flag champions for riot's need to overload champions for the sake of powercreep, and I agree his mana &/or regeneration needs some significant nerfs since he can spam most of his kit; or conversely raise his cooldowns by 30~50% to make his choose carefully to engage.

Elise, don't see her much outside aram funny enough, probably because most people can't switch playstyles on the fly easily, but tends to stay in human form to use her ranged CC; I'd say let her gain more but less powerful spiders on transformation to give her some more incentive to stay in the fray.

Evelynn , she seems fine to me for the most part, but snowballing as a game mechanic still needs to be toned down. This is supposed to be a stratigy game, not a third person CoD.

Ezreal appears to be better, but his new W dealing bonus damage to structures is rather abusive considering his significant range and low cooldowns.

Fiddlesticks I'd say the reverse, his ultimate is deceptively dangerous yet clunky to use. Since riot hasn't shown any signs of slowing the game down, we need some counters to the hyper-mobile champions running around, especially with the mastery perks.

Fiora and vayne I'd say need their passives reworked again, both were strong before their buffed reworks due to proxy of other game changes (like the stealth rework and armor/health conversion sweep), having anti-tank champions is fine; but them being as is, with all the other options makes them both obsolete yet oppressive, since others can do their jobs, but they can also stack the tools the others are using.

Fizz, his E being an AOE slow that makes him intangible and allows him significant mobility is just an overloaded ability, the rest of his kit is fine; but this skill should be one or the other, a mobility tool, or a control tool, not both.

True she snowballs hard. But thats not something unique to her. Every assassin snowballs hard. Her passive also heals her usually up to her ~30% max hp. Only late game, where she has a lot of ap, will it heal her for a lot.
