  • Lucian's doesn't have cast time
  • Lucian's is wider
  • Lucian's doesn't root
  • Lucien's is shorter
  • Lucian's goes through minions
  • Lucian's ISN'T a skill shot

Actually think before jumping to the conclusion that because two abilities look the same, they are the same

-Lucian has maybe a half second cast time, just enough time to jump out of the way. -It might not be a skill shot as far as point and click, but you can skill shot it through minions into a champion. I'd say half skillshot.

My case still stands. They are very different

To add. Lucian can actually hit multiple champions with his.

Lucian's is targeted, shorter ranged, and we don't know the setup time for both. Jhin's is free aim, longer ranged, and we don't know the costs or damage for each. And Jhin's has a special effect if the target is marked. Spells seem the same even when different due to how many champs there are in the game right now.

It's so he can snare enemies that have taken damage from almost literally any source in the last few seconds. You know, kind of like how Caitlyn can throw her instant arming traps 2000 units away.
